Traitors star Mollie Pearce reveals secret tactic that secured spot in BBC final

The Traitors finalist Mollie Pearce shared a crucial piece of advice for future contestants on how to make it to the final – and it’s not easy.

The model, 22, became a fan favourite on the BBC One show which had viewers scratching their heads over the simulated whodunnit. Initially, the blonde bombshell kept a low profile in the group, but she slowly grew in confidence as the weeks went on.

But last week, the TV star saw the £95k prize pot swiped from under her when her show bestie Harry Clark revealed he was, “and had been from the start”, a Traitor. Now, the disability ambassador has shared her secret behind why she made it all the way to the final without being banished from the Scottish castle.

Speaking to Daily Star and other press, the blonde beauty shared her pearls of wisdom for next year’s contestants. She told us: “I think obviously it does help being friends with a Traitor.

“I also think I was kind of the perfect amount of like, I spoke when I needed to but I didn’t say too much. So I wasn’t too much of a threat, but especially towards the end I started to have more of an input.”

Discussing what her process was in sniffing out Traitors on the show, she confessed that she that never went into the show with a plan of action. Mollie explained: “Your head’s just scrambled and I think it’s easy for people to say you should have this specific game plan or it’s really, really easy.

“But once you start building them friendships, it’s so hard. And I think you pick up on the slightest thing and a lot of times what you’re picking up on isn’t even right.

“So it was a really hard one,” she admitted. It’s fair to say Mollie was visibly devastated during the finale when she trusted Harry was a ‘Faithful’ despite Jaz Singh calling a final vote – a move that screwed herself and Jaz out of pocketing the prize.

The nation’s hearts were broken when it dawned on Mollie the extent of the betrayal, prompting her to scream “f**k” before storming out of the castle. Speaking about where her friendship stands with Harry following the jaw-dropping episode, she confessed: “It was a mutual thing, we had quite a big laugh after to be honest.

“We are good friends, and someone had to win. And we weren’t on the same team, so it was either going to be me or him. So, it would have only been on the opposite foot if I hadn’t changed my vote.”

The TV star later revealed to Lorraine that she experienced “two massive betrayals” during her time on the show. She told viewers: “There was always a chance someone was going to be lying to you.

“I was super close to Miles as well so two massive betrayals in there… The friendships are real. But you can lose them because of the game.”
