Denise Richards once experienced some serious negotiations for her steamy Wild Things role.
The Hollywood beauty claims that when she accepted the position in the 1998 film, there were discussions about how many nipples to show on screen. Denise explained on an episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: “The language going back and forth to your agents and managers of ‘how many?’, ‘what nipple?’.”
Richards laughed and explained that only one was supposed to be shown, but somehow the deal “went up to two”. Her Housewives co-star Lisa Rinna asked “how she will respond when her children see the film,” to which Denise said she ‘hoped to god they don’t see it’.

The star, who shares her daughter Sami with actor Charlie Sheen, confessed that she doesn’t want her children to “have that visual,” although Rinna suspected “they’ve probably seen it”.
Lisa Rinna asked Richards “what it was like to shoot a threeway,” to which she replied: “We did a lot, it’s weird but you just have to commit. I will say this, when it was just her [co-star Neve Campbell] and I, it was easier because you just feel like you’ll protect each other and you known different things you don’t want, that kind of thing, but the other part of it that wasn’t easier with that scene was knowing that people on the crew were: ‘Oh, two girls are kissing’.”
When asked “what her father thought,” about the movie, Denise responded: “I told my mom the part because I didn’t want my dad obviously to see me in that situation. So, I told my mom we were coming up so she had him leave the theatre and she left with him too. He wouldn’t want to see his daughter that way anyway.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Denise said that taking her Wild Things role was a “tough decision for her” because she was “raised in a very conservative family” who “went to church every week” and raised her as a “good Catholic girl”.
However, her parents were overall supportive of the role and her mother “was actually the one that told her” to go for it, “for her career”.
