Russell Howard may have been in the public eye for a while, but he continues to keep his love life out of the press.
The comedian became a regular on our screens back in 2006 when he signed up as a panellist on the beloved BBC comedy show Mock The Week. Since then, the stand-up has released a string of DVDs from his various tours across the country and has appeared on almost ever panel show you can think of.
He’s also hosted a number of his own shows including Russell Howard’s Good News and The Russell Howard Hour. He even starred in a travel series with his mum Ninette in Russell Howard & Mum: USA Road Trip.

But off stage, the blond hunk likes to keep his love life private. He lives in the Camden area with his wife Cerys and their adorable Jack Russell dog Archie.
As the comic celebrates his 45th birthday in style, Daily Star has taken a look back at one of his most embarrassing sex confessions to date. During a gig on Stand Up Central, the TV star took part in a lowkey Q&A with the audience.
One cheeky fan asked: “What’s been your most embarrassing sexual experience?” to which Russell immediately shut down: “That is not the night for that.” When the audience started to boo, the hunk caved and warned: “Fine, okay, but on your head be it.”
It was at this point that he shared one of his first sexual experiences as a young teenager. He explained: “So I was 17 and I was trying to administer oral sex to a girl, and I went at her too vigorously and I vomited.”
The studio audience couldn’t help but recoil in shock as they audibly gasped at his admission. He fumed: “That is on you!” as they chuckled at his embarrassment.
He went on to explain where he went wrong with his bedroom faux pas. Russell confessed: “I went with it. I did try, at least I tried. But I went too [enthusiastically].
“It was like I’d just been to a Chinese buffet, and I really enjoyed the meal and I was licking the plate with such vigour. And I wanted to get a taste of that sweet goodness and it was too much for me.”
The audience continued to shout “eww” in response before he reminded them: “You made that happen.” It is understood that Russell started dating Cerys back in 2004 when they met through a friend of his sister, Kerry.
The TV star was just 21 when they met with his wife just 17 at the time. The couple have since gone from strength to strength and now share a life together in the country’s capital.
