Disney fans are only just noticing Jeremy Clarkson had a small role in an iconic film.
Moviegoers from across the land have realised that the Diddly Squat farmer actually made a starring appearance in the much loved film Cars in 2006. It seemed that his voiceover role had slipped the radar of many fans, though.
Unlike many of his presenting TV roles, Jeremy went undercover in the animation picture to voice the character of Harv. He appeared in the initial film as the no nonsense agent for Lightening McQueen.

Those who have loved watching the Grand Tour star in his TV career and know of his love of cars will sense the humour behind his character Harv. He is not seen on-screen but is on-hand via speakerphone to deliver information about racing.
There’s not much else we can share about Harv, other than he was deemed as being quite strict and wanted to axe Mack – who was McQueen’s transporter – for not getting the top racer into the trailer.
Those who had recently enjoyed re-watching the film, which is almost two decades old now, were shocked they hadn’t picked up on this key bit of information sooner. One person penned: “How old where you when you found out the boss of Lightning McQueen (Harv) in the film cars was voiced by Jeremy Clarkson?”
Another online user said: “Is Jeremy Clarkson Harv in Cars? Wow! I never noticed that.” As a third wrote: “Jeremy Clarkson is Harv?” followed by a shocked emoji.
Others complained that they felt Harv’s voice had been adapted. Fans fumed that it wasn’t Jeremy Clarkson’s recognisable tone anymore. One comment read: “Anyone else notice the voice of Harv in @Disney Cars has changed?
“It’s no longer @Jeremy Clarkson!” A second also added: “I was today years old when I realised Disney Pixar removed Jeremy Clarkson from the voice of ‘Harv’ from Cars. Day ruined.”
It was however not the case that Jeremy had been removed, it was just a mere misunderstanding with versions. The TV personality had only been the voice actor for the UK edit while Jeremy Piven played Harv in the US edition.
Despite working out that the Amazon Prime star had not actually been struck off, British fans were still left annoyed that the Disney+ version had not seen the Top Gear host as Harv.
“Jeremy Clarkson will forever be a better voice of Harv than Jeremy Piven in cars,” moaned one fan. A second also agreed, adding: “WT* Disney+ doesn’t have Jeremy Clarkson as Harv but the American version guy, I’m livid.”
