Jeremy Clarkson’s net worth after measly three-figure earnings from Diddly Squat farm

Jeremy Clarkson’s switch from the high-octane world of cars to the tranquil life of farming has captivated viewers in the popular series, Clarkson’s Farm.

As the show gears up for its third series on Prime Video, Jeremy and his partner Lisa Hogan immerse themselves in the rural lifestyle at Diddly Squat, tackling everything from lambing to tractor driving. The celebrity presenter’s transformation into a farmer has been a grounding experience, underscored by the shocking revelation at the end of Clarkson’s Farm’s first series.

Jeremy was stunned to learn that after deducting hefty expenses, he had made a paltry £144 for the entire year.

While recognising that his fame offered a financial safety net, Jeremy showed genuine understanding for the struggles of other farmers grappling with significant losses. Despite his modest farm earnings, the star is estimated to have a total net worth of $60million (£43million), making him a highly coveted talent.

As per reports from the Mirror, the presenter was allegedly offered a three-series deal with Amazon for the hit show, which could reportedly net him a staggering sum of more than £200m.

In the new series, Lisa takes charge of the farm shop but gets a reality check from land agent Charlie Ireland when she tries to flog goods not sourced locally. In a serious sit-down on the show, Charlie warns her she’s risking a criminal record for selling items not within 16 miles of the farm, reports OK!.

Ahead of Clarkson’s Farm’s third season, Lisa admitted she was ready to face the clink, saying: “I was going to take one for the team literally,” She vented about the costs of running a business, stating: “You pay so much in business rates, taxes, then you give it to them and they use it to fight to close you down.”

Lisa also expressed her frustration with the council, remarking: “It seems strange, the behaviour.” However, she acknowledged a silver lining: “They’ve done me a favour actually because I wouldn’t have found half of my suppliers unless I really had to search for them within 16 miles.

“So I’m really grateful to them for that. But I just think [the council] overreacts a little bit sometimes.”

Discussing life working alongside Jeremy, Lisa shared that being with him around the clock is “pretty easy”. She gushed about his qualities: “We’re probably so totally co-dependent at this stage because we spend so much time together but he’s so interesting,” she said.

“He’s so fascinating and I just love watching the way his brain works, and I always get surprised.”

She continued to praise Jeremy’s expertise: “I think it’s going one way and it’s not. He’s been in the business for a long time. He is really good at it. I love it.”
