The touching inscription reads: “In loving memory of Dot Armstrong tragically taken on 29.6.1992 and Derek John Armstrong 12.4.1948 – 13.5.2019. Sadly missed husband, dad and grampy. Forever in our hearts.”

In 2020, she shared a poignant reflection on their bond alongside a snapshot of Derek on the first anniversary of his death.
She penned: “I can’t believe one year has passed. It still seems so unreal. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss you, your smile, your laugh, your encouragement and most of all your love. Will always be Daddy’s girl.”
She rounded off the heartfelt post from several years ago with: “My heart broke this day last year. RIP. My Dad. My hero.”
Elsewhere in her life, Lisa shared a veiled message on Instagram as ex-spouse and Britain’s Got Talent star Ant became a father. The telly presenter, 48, and his wife Anne-Marie Corbett, 46, announced the arrival of their baby on Instagram.
“Welcome to the family. Wilder Patrick Mcpartlin. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am. Baby is beautiful, Mummy’s a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad’s a mess,” they shared. The duo welcomed a son, which prompted an outpouring of congratulations from friends and fans alike.
Meanwhile, Lisa posted a cryptic quote about a “battle” on her Instagram Stories. The quote stated: “Be proud of how you have been handling these past few months. The silent battles you’ve fought, the moments you’ve had to humble yourself, the times you’ve wiped your own tears. Celebrate your strength.”
