The body found in the search for Dr Michael Mosley is him, Greek police have now confirmed.
It comes after a body was first spotted by a camera crew filming by the sea, despite rescue teams passing the same spot.
The British TV personality and health expert first went missing on Wednesday after he went for a lone stroll while on holiday on Greek Island, Symi.

It prompted a ‘desperate’ five-day search encompassing dozens of police, helicopters, divers, dogs, and drones.
The search had turned to a network of caves known locally as The Abyss, and it is believed a body was found by search staff on Sunday morning nearby, reportedly with an umbrella.
The body of Michael Mosley has now been removed from Symi island on a boat.
Five firefighters left the island with the body on a stretcher at around 2.45pm local time, having arrived 35 minutes earlier.
Two young men watched from the bright blue waters and another group continued to play with a football as the white motorboat drove off. One jumped into the sea chasing the ball, the Mirror reported.
Holidaymakers clad in swimwear crowded along Agia Marina’s stone wall overlooking the sea and some filmed the scene.
The mayor of Symi earlier warned that areas searched so far featured “loads” of snakes. An extreme weather warning was also issued as temperatures soared into the 40s.
On Saturday, an emergency helicopter circled the wider Pedi area for several hours and hovered over the spot where the body was found. It was reportedly spotted by a TV crew filming with the local mayor and his deputy.
Illias Haskas, deputy mayor on the island said: “They went back to their work headquarters to analyse the footage and concluded that it needed further investigation so they did, and they found him was 10m away from the shore, not far away from Agia marina.”
