Louise Thompson has revealed why she was left in tears after chatting with ITV legend Lorraine Kelly.
The Made in Chelsea star visited the ITV studios last month to chat with Lorraine on her morning show. As Louise released her book Lucky, she opened up to the host on developing PTSD after the life-threatening birth of her son Leo and bravely revealed she had a stoma bag fitted last month.
However, on Jamie Laing’s Great Company podcast, she revealed she ended up crying after her encounter with Lorraine because she was “so nice”.

Speaking to Daily Star, Louise said: “Oh she just came to visit me downstairs in the dressing room before going onto her show, Lorraine to formally introduce herself. She is such a kind and compassionate host like that.
“She was saying how proud I should be of my book with that sort of mother-figure attitude and I actually had to ask her to stop at one point because I was going to burst into tears.
“I’m a bit pathetic like that. I cry all the time. I am acutely sensitive. I like to cry when things are happy or when things are sad. Bloody love that oxytocin release though.”
Louise has joined forces with small business champion Not On The High Street to create her newest collection. The reality star selected her favourite picks from unique small businesses for children to show love for their father figures this Father’s Day.
She added: “I’ve always used Not on the High Street as a destination for finding unique gifts. This is going to sound ridiculous but I receive so many things for free that are ‘gifted’ from brands, that it means it’s really important that my friends know that I’ve chosen and paid for something specifically for them.
Not just handed something on. Even people that don’t work in this industry, play pass the parcel with gifts, but with something personalised you know that it’s come straight from the heart, from the pocket, and with a bit more thought and consideration gone into it.
“I am a real mush so I love the book that we made for Ryan with his name in it. I do whatever it takes to encourage him to talk and read to Leo because I know how much Leo loves it and how much he benefits from it! I also love the leather bookmark that has photos of our family printed on it. It’s such a chic and understated gift.
“Now that I’m feeling a lot better I’m doing a lot more reading, so I’ve ordered myself one as well as everyone in my family one too! It means that everyone gets to look at the family before they go to sleep at night (if they’re doing a spot of bedside reading that is).”
