One of this year’s Strictly stars may have accidentally leaked which pro she is partnered with.
Montell Douglas is gearing up for a new challenge as she is set to take to the dance floor in the new series of the BBC dancing competition. But already, she may have given the game away as to who she is going to be dancing with.
The 38-year-old recently made an appearance on BBC hit show Gladiators and was announced to be taking part in the controversial competition earlier this year. Montell first shot to fame in the revived series of the strength test, as she herself joined the pro team as Fire.

Now she is looking to light up the dance floor with her moves, but she has already given fans an idea on who she might be working with over the series. Currently, the celebrity pairings have not been revealed to the public, but fans are reading into cryptic clues that may have already said who will be dancing with her.
According to her social media platforms, Montell is only following one other Strictly star as yet, Ukrainian professional Nikita Kuzmin. As well as this, the Celebrity Big Brother star was the only pro to congratulate Montell on her announcement.
However, it has yet to be confirmed whether the pair will in fact be dancing together later this year. Nikita already has had a showstopping career on Strictly, after he first joined the show in 2021.
In the three series that he has taken part, he has had mixed results – but reached the final during last year’s series alongside partner Layton Williams. The pair have since struck up an invaluable bond and recently performed together for the last time – a move that left both stars weeping.
Outside of the Strictly bubble, Nikita has also branched out into reality TV, appearing in the most recent series of Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year. He endeared himself to the nation, and eventually finished in second place behind winner David Potts.
Montell herself is quick on her feet, as she is a former Olympian in multiple sports. Throughout her career, she has taken on a variety of different disciplines, including sprinting and the bobsleigh.
In her illustrious athletic career, she became the British record holder for the 100-metre race. But away from the Summer Games, she also has had experience in the Winter Olympics, competing in the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing as part of Team GB’s two-women bobsleigh team.
Rehearsals for the upcoming series of the BBC show are now well underway, with professionals and celebrities now going in for regular training ahead of the new show. The training will feature new elements following the scandal that engulfed the show last year, with chaperones now being an integral part of the training process.
