Liam Gallagher has hit out at Oasis fans complaining about ticket prices for the band’s 2025 reunion tour.
Oasis fans have been up in arms over the eye-watering prices of tickets for the iconic group’s Live ’25 tour. They scrambled to cop tickets for the comeback gigs last weekend and were left waiting in virtual queues for up to 11 hours.
But a lot of the backlash has been about just how expensive the tickets are – and the “dynamic prices” used by seller Ticketmaster which inflated prices. Initially, standing tickets on the site costed £148.50 but later on were as expensive as £355, over double what fans expected to pay.

Liam took to X on Friday morning (September 6) to hit back at the ticket backlash, and he wasn’t happy. He wrote: “OASIS are back your welcome and I hear there ATTITUDE STINKS good to know something’s never change L***ING x”.
He then lashed out at one fan claiming they’d ‘ripped’ off punters: He replied: “SHUTUP”. The fan had replied to Liam’s tweet, writing: “Didn’t expect them to rip the fans off as much as they have done. It’s genuinely a shame.”
One cheeky fan tried their luck when they asked: “Got any spare tickets?”. Liam joked they’d set you back £100k and required kneeling for the band. He replied: “Sh** loads but there really expensive 100 thousand pounds Kneeling only”.
Another fan asked: “How you feeling LG???”. Liam was buzzing with the band’s comeback as he replied: “SMUG only kidding SMUG AS F*** I told you all we were gonna get back together 1 fine day.”
A fourth fan praised the singer for seemingly predicting the band’s return. They wrote: “you told the truth all along,” to which Liam replied: “Ahem.”
It comes after a probe was launched into the sale of Oasis tickets, including the use of “dynamic pricing”. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is investigating whether or not Ticketmaster breached consumer protection law.
Oasis had insisted they weren’t to blame for the prices of tickets. A statement from the band read: “It needs to be made clear that Oasis leave decisions on ticketing and pricing entirely to their promoters and management.”
