Elon Musk offers to ‘give Taylor Swift a baby’ as she makes ‘childless cat lady’ jibe

Elon Musk has bizarrely offered Taylor Swift a child after she gave her support to Kamala Harris.

The first debate in the US presidential race took place in the early hours of Wednesday morning (September 11), with Democrat nominee Kamala going toe-to-toe with former US President Donald Trump. The pair had much to say in the 90-minute debate, with a slew of topics covered.

Following the debate, several issues surrounding Trump’s campaign arose, including his continued claims on immigrants eating residents’ pets. This caused a huge wave of backlash against the former president, who then took to the so-called “spin room” to address journalists with his concerns.

After watching the debate, a number of high-profile stars threw their weight behind one of the candidates, including Taylor Swift. The Anti-Hero singer formally announced that she would be endorsing Kamala for the way she handled herself and the way she agreed with Kamala’s points.

Signing off her post with a dig at Trump’s running mate JD Vance – “Taylor Swift, Childless Cat Lady” – the star won the hearts of her fans all over again. However, one person was less than pleased with Taylor’s confession – billionaire tech giant Elon Musk.

Less than two hours after her original post, Tesla boss Elon hit back at Taylor’s claims with a bizarre gift to Taylor. Writing on Twitter, he penned to the Ready for It star: “Fine Taylor, you win. I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.”

Some of Elon’s most die-hard fans were left stunned by his strange suggestion – including Ian Miles Cheong, who eerily responded: “My God.” Elon was then berated by voters on both sides of the political divide for his “creepy” proposal, as attention now turns to the election in November.

Taylor’s endorsement had been highly sought after since she publicly backed Joe Biden during the 2020 election campaign. She eventually gave her backing to Kamala in an Instagram post shortly after the debate, while slamming Trump for using AI-generated images of her “falsely” giving her support to him.

In the post, Taylor explained: “I’m voting for Kamala Harris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”

In the debate, Kamala and Trump faced off on a number of various topics, including the economy, abortion, the war in Ukraine and immigration. Trump’s outlandish claims of Haitian immigrants eating house pets in the city of Springfield, Ohio landed him in hot water with moderators and viewers alike.

During the course of the debate, numerous remarks Trump made went viral on social media, with particular focuses on the Springfield debacle. Other elements that sparked furore included Trump’s claims that he had read that Kamala was not black, before walking the claim back.
