“I think I could fit in there, maybe in a couple of years, maybe not right now. They are a proper little family, I am quite close to Denise who lives near me in Cheshire so I see her outside of work. I don’t know if it’s for me right now, but I absolutely love the show.”

She added: “This year I’ve done so much that isn’t out yet, but it’s all coming out at the same time next year. It’s going to be a bit of everything. Next year is really big for me.”

Christine announced her split with her TV star husband Paddy in 2022 which left fans devastated for the couple who had been wed for 11 years. When asked how her Christmas will look this year, she said: “A quiet Christmas, nice and quiet for the children, they can get quite overwhelmed with all the changes.”

The former couple have chosen to carry on living together for the sake of their three children,10-year-old twins Penelope and Leo, and seven-year-old Felicity.

And in an interview with The Sun, explained their decision to co-habit still and said: “It’s the one thing that we completely agree on – the children’s needs come first. We don’t want them to be affected by anything. Patrick’s diary is busy, as it always is, so he very much dips in and out of the home, because he’s working away a lot.

“The same as when I was his wife, I’m there to support the children when he goes out to work – that’s how it is. When he comes back, that’s when I’ll try to put some of my work in.

“It doesn’t affect the children, because they’re not moving anywhere. They’re in one home, in their beds every night, and Mummy and Daddy come and go depending on our work schedules.”
