Coronation Street has been tense since the murder of Joel Deering, and fans predict another dramatic turn in the story.
Dee-Dee Bailey (played by Channique Sterling-Brown) was the loyal finance of Joel (Callum Lill) before the truth of his grooming and abuse came to light. While she wiped her hands of him, several eagle-eyed social media users have noticed something strange in the latest spoiler released by ITV.
In it, Dee-Dee and Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) are in the solicitor’s flat having a tense conversation. Coronation Street have released a spoiler and suggested viewers are in for some shocking news.

During Monday’s episode (November 18), Dee-Dee has a tough nightmare after she struggles to sleep. The fall out of her potential involvement has been keeping her up at night, but her latest news could add to her dilemma.
She goes to meet a new client, but the pressure gets too much and she suffers a meltdown. While Kit, who has taken her side, tries to calm her down, she flees the scene and heads back to her flat.
Sarah jumps in to help and Dee-Dee releases some shocking news. In a new photo, Dee-Dee looks worried and on the table, fans can see the box of a pregnancy test.
Eagle-eyed viewers thought this could be a clue towards the shocking news, and ran to X to share their thoughts. One viewer wrote: “I’m guessing Dee-Dee tells Sarah Joel raped her and she’s pregnant with his baby because there’s a pregnancy test on the table.
“Dee-Dee’s religion means she didn’t want to sleep with Joel or anyone before marriage.” Some viewers clapped back at this comment and highlighted her “no sex before marriage rule”, but Facebook fans disagreed.
“Clearly nobody pays close attention when watching the soap. When they got engaged they later went back to her flat and she spoke about breaking that rule of hers, just one time,” noted a viewer. A third suggested more foul play from Joel: “Maybe he drugged her and she didn’t know, it’s something Joel would do.”
A fourth even suggested Joel could in fact be alive, and this is the news that would bring him out of hiding. “Perhaps she thinks if he finds out she’d pregnant he will come out of hiding. She’s a clever lady.”
Coronation Street is on ITV at 8pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday and available to stream from 7am on ITVX
