I’m A Celebrity star Tulisa Contostavlos failed to appear for the coming out party and the final after being the third campmate to be eliminated from the jungle
Tulisa Contostavlos sent a heartfelt message to her fellow I’m A Celebrity campmates after skipping the show’s finale.
The N-Dubz singer, who was the third contestant to be voted off the jungle-based reality show, was noticeably absent from the final and other post-show gatherings. It was disclosed that she had chosen to leave Australia for mental health reasons, which also led to her missing the celebratory party for Danny Jones’ victory.
In an episode set to air tomorrow night, GK Barry interrupts the festivities with a special message from Tulisa. Despite her absence, she showered her co-stars with compliments and expressed her eagerness to reunite with them, reports OK!.
During the party, GK announced, “Guys, as we know someone isn’t here, and that someone is Tulisa, but fear not because I’ve got a message from her.” Following this, a video message from Tulisa was played where she apologised for her absence.

She said: “Hello everybody, I’m so proud of you all, you’ve absolutely smashed it, now I want you to go and eat yourselves into an oblivion. I’m so sorry that I can’t be there so have a big old drink for me. I love you lots like jelly tots and I will see you soon.”
The episode will also feature a segment where Tulisa reunites with her friend Michelle and they discuss her experiences with the Bushtucker Trials and the dreadful eating challenge. The duo also share a moment of joy over wine, pizza and pasta.
Tulisa openly reflected on her recent experience, stating, “I said I was going to come out a different person but I don’t feel different, I feel more strong in who I am.”
Later, Dean and Jane surprised her with a cosy hotel room setup featuring wine and pizza. Despite the cheery scene, Tulisa soon jetted back home not long after releasing a statement to slam any suggestions of a rift with campmates or pals.
Addressing her fans directly, she explained, “I’m just doing a little video to clear a couple things up. Just so you know, when I came out of the jungle, I felt fine first of all and then that evening my friends went to bed.
“I was on my Instagram trying to have a nice little scroll at some funny stuff. I was getting a lot of attention, a lot of bombarding in all the most positive way. But because it’s been a while for me I can get overwhelmed quite easily.”
She further added: “And I just started to feel overwhelmed. I thought do you know what, I really just need to take a bit of time for me and just chill. This is all feeling just a little bit much at the moment. I’m just going to archive all my stuff to do with the jungle. Then when the time is right and I’ve had a little time to process I’m going to make my own reels of all my best bits I really like.”
