TV star and I’m A Celebrity icon Kim Woodburn has been forced to postpone work commitments as she’s gone in for surgery, with a statement released on her Instagram
Kim Woodburn has gone into hospital for an operation.
The 82 year-old TV star, who appeared on I’m A Celebrity in 2009 and on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017, has cancelled all work for the next two and a half weeks. The cleaning queen has done so because she’s had to get surgery on her eye.
It comes shortly after The cleaning queen attended Drag Race star The Vivienne’s funeral. A statement on her Instagram read: “We regret to tell you that Kim is unable to record further videos until Friday 7th March.”
The caption added: “Due to surgery to eye.” Kim allows fans to purchase personal video greetings for £25, but they’ll have to wait for a couple of weeks while Kim recovers from the op.
Fans rushed to the comments of the post to share supportive messages for the Channel 4 star, who used to present How Clean Is Your House?. One wrote: “Hope you are ok Kim.. looking forward to seeing you again soon. keep well lovely lady xx”
Another penned: “Get well soon my love wishing you a speedy recovery [heart emoji] [plaster emoji] sending you lots of love xxxx.” A third added: “Get well soon Kim!”
Last year, Kim revealed she’d gotten plastic surgery after watching herself taking a shower on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity. She told the Daily Star: “I’ve always had huge knockers; they were very big; they were hanging badly.
When I saw this after the jungle, I thought, “Oh, God, Kim they look awful love.’ So I went and got them made smaller. So, now listen up, if I take my bra off they’re firm and pert just like an 18-year-old’s.”
Kim finished as runner-up in the jungle during the series, which saw Gino D’Acampo crowned winner. Snooker player Jimmy White finished in third.
