First Dates Fred Sirieix has just announced that he’s finally got hitched to his partner Fruitcake.
The TV star took to Instagram with a gorgeous snap to let the world know that he and his sweetheart Fruitcake, who likes to keep her full identity away from the spotlight. The pair have taken the plunge in sunny Negril, Jamaica can be seen smiling ear to ear while beaming guests shower them with petals.
Looking every bit the dapper groom, I’m A celeb star Fred rocks a crisp white jacket and a sleek black bow tie, as his bride glows in her stunning gown. All Fred needed was the wedding date and a flurry of emojis – Jamaican flag included – to caption the heartfelt post.
Fruitcake herself couldn’t contain her joy, claiming it was the “best day of my life” right there in the comments. Over on her page, she echoed the sentiment with a cheeky “we did it” on her Stories, where she also treated fans to a peek at the glam venue décor.
She didn’t stop there, showcasing her elegant hairstyle and treating her followers to the breathtaking sea view from her window. Topping it all off, the newlyweds said “I do” at the grand Pattoo Castle, hailed by a guest as an “incredible venue” alongside a snapshot of the big day’s schedule, neatly tied with patriotic ribbon, reports the Mirror.
Fred, a beloved TV personality, was recently spotted enjoying his newlywed life. He was seen basking in the sun, shirtless and donning a Jamaican hat.
He shared with his followers: “Wagwan everyone. It’s sunset here at 6pm. And I’m here with Fruitcake. We got married yesterday,” as his wife, Fruitcake, gleefully interrupted to flaunt her ring and exclaim: “Finally we did it, we did it.”
Fred then humorously added: “I’m the DJ for this video. She’s good isn’t she. Anyway, we’ve got to get ready for dinner. See you.”
As they both blew kisses to the camera, Fruitcake expressed gratitude for the lovely comments from their followers. The French maître d’, known for his role in facilitating love connections on First Dates since 2013, believes that food is the key to a woman’s heart.
He recently revealed to Mirror one of his most romantic gestures towards his new wife, saying: “I have done many over the years. Maybe one of my best one’s or one of my favourites was taking Fruitcake to Monte Carlo to show her the places I worked as a young professional. It was magic to relive that together as a team!”
He also confessed that the secret to a strong relationship is “having clear communication and shared interests”. He emphasised that being in a relationship means “you’re both a team” and it’s crucial to demonstrate that you are “supporting each other, rather than being against each other”.
Fred and Fruitcake began dating in 2018. He proposed two years later, and the couple has managed to keep their private life largely out of the public eye over the years.
