Love Island’s Zara McDermott seems to have confirmed her romance with singer Louis Tomlinson by posting a photo of the former One Direction singer on her Instagram
Zara McDermott and Louis Tomlinson appear to have confirmed they are dating.
The pair first sparked romance rumours in March, when they enjoyed dinner together at a hotel in Suffolk. It’s clearly going well as it’s believed singer Louis, 33, has already introduced Love Island star Zara, 28, to his family.
Love Island star Zara recently split from Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, 32. They were together for five years before they called things off at the end of last year.
However, it appears Zara has now confirmed they are dating as she shared a snap of the former One Direction star on her Instagram. On Thursday (April 10), Zara and Louis appeared to be enjoying a brunch date in Malibu, California.
She posted a photo of their food, which included a plate of blueberry pancakes and a plate of eggs benedict. And although his face wasn’t show, Louis’ arm – which has several unique tattoos – could be seen in the corner of the picture.
Zara and Louis also hinted that they were together on a US trip as they both shared videos from a Stereophonics gig at The Wiltern theatre in Los Angeles on Tuesday night. They shared very similar clips during the gig, apparently taken from the same spot.
Zara and Sam were spotted at The Suffolk in Aldeburgh in March. Snaps in The Sun, taken in secret by a fellow diner, showed them enjoying fish and chips and cocktails.
A source claimed: “Louis whisked Zara away for a break in Suffolk and he absolutely charmed her. It’s clear he thinks she’s drop-dead gorgeous too.
“Louis is a proper gentleman so this trip was something he planned and put on for Zara. He was really thoughtful and wanted to make it special. They share the same values and are both incredibly close with their families.”
The source said that Louis is protective over his sisters and that Zara is the same with her younger brother Brad. The source alleged the couple are taking things slowly and enjoying each other’s company.
Zara recently split from Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, following a five-relationship – she has moved out of the home they shared.
It comes after it was claimed Zara has already met Louis’ family. A source told the Sun: “Zara has already met all the family and they can tell that she has made Louis giddy. It’s the first time in a long time that they have seen him happy.”
The source added: “They think Zara is super wholesome and health-conscious so they are happy he is with someone who shuns the party life.”
According to sources close to Zara, Louis has put ‘a smile back on her face’ following her split from Sam. Sam, according to MailOnline, has grown close to Netflix star Lucy Syed,
