Kim Woodburn has revealed the “rudest” star she’s ever met as she detailed the sour celebrity experience.
The Celebrity Big Brother star, 83, has blasted BBC presenter Julia Bradbury, 54, as being “rotten” to her. Julia, who fronted Countryfile from 2004 until 2014, is reportedly not in Kim’s good books.
The TV star said she clashed with Julia on BBC’s Rich, Famous and Homeless after she claimed Julia took a coat that was supposed to be for Kim to wear as the stars braved the cold on the streets.
In a new interview, Kim shared: “Do you know I had a shocking time with Julia Bradbury. She was rotten to me. I did a show years ago called Rich, Famous and Homeless, and we actually genuinely slept on the streets for it.
“Well, I did. Talk about cold, love. I really did live the experience on that show. And what happened was, the production company said we’re going to get all the clothes you’ll be wearing from a charity shop, as they didn’t want us to wear our posh clothes on the street. They said they’d get us a coat each…”
“And I said to the producer, I thought you got each of us a coat, and she said she did, and there were two that were my size in that pile. But Julia Bradbury had a suitcase with her – why?”
Kim revealed the producers then stepped in to ask how many items she took from the pile and Julia asked ‘why?’, to which they replied ‘I think you’ve taken one of Kim’s coats’.
The outspoken star then went on to explain the “the brazen madam” did not comply and offer Kim one of the multiple coats she allegedly took.
Kim added: “Julia said ‘Look, when we came here, you tipped all those clothes on the floor and told the five of us to pick what we wanted, and I’ve picked what I wanted. As far as I’m concerned, I’m keeping the coats’ and she left me without!
“She wore her coat, and my coat over it – throughout the whole programme! Can you believe that!”
Kim scathed: “When I see her on television pretending, being all sweetness and light, I think to myself, you’re rotten, you took my coat off me.”
