EXCLUSIVE: Daily Star sat down with Love Island’s Ben Holbrough before he heads into the villa on Monday night – the taxi driver shared one thing that he’ll be marking the ladies down on
Love Island’s Ben revealed his top ‘red flag’ when it comes to dating – and it involves his taxi driving job.
Ben Holbrough, 23, from Gloucester, is a taxi driver and model who is heading into the Majorcan villa in a bid to find love. The lad will be strutting, scantily-clad, into the Spanish pad where he’ll meet his 11 other cast mates and host Maya Jama on Monday night.
He’ll be hoping to couple up with one of the six women heading into the villa. However, their bikini bodies, dazzling smiles and bubbly personalities might not be enough for Ben to make the right call.
That’s because the lad will have to rifle through their purses instead. Why? Well, taxi driver Ben admitted that his number one red flag is a woman who can’t get behind the wheel.
In a sad moment for all who still have provisionals, taxi driver Ben exclusively told us: “My red flag is someone who doesn’t drive and relies on me to drive them everywhere because I’m a taxi driver.
“I want my passenger Princess, I do. I like the thought of having it, but someone that relies on me too much just wants me to do everything all the time.
“And a girl who has no goals, there’s nothing going on for her. I need a girl that’s on her business.”
Fans of Love Island might have seen charmer Ben before he walks onto our screens on June 9. That’s because the lad is a professional poser away from his driving gig.
Ben often shares snippets of his luxurious life to his 11,000 Instagram followers, where he can be seen posing for House of Cavani and Superdry.
He’s even modelled for fake tan brand St Moriz, which featured on the Boots website. It seems that Ben has not only the looks and the gift of the gab – but what does he want in a partner?
Ben revealed: “I like a confident girl, knows what she wants, career driven, is just bubbly and fun to be around. I like a girl that matches my very good energy – good energy is a big thing for me.”
