David Beckham has reached out to his son Brooklyn after he has reportedly ‘cut ties’ with his famous parents after an ongoing family feud has caused a divide in the clan
David Beckham has shared a direct message to his eldest son Brooklyn during their heartbreaking feud.
The former footballer shared a picture of him and his son Brooklyn on his Instagram Stories and penned “Love you @brooklynpeltzbeckham” on Father’s Day.
He also followed this up with a post for each other his other three children, with a similar message for all by writing “Love you mate @romeobeckham”, “Love you Cruzie @cruzbackham” and “Love you pretty lady #HarperSeven” with pics of them all with the famous footballer on each slide.
He also seemingly addressed his ongoing family feud in his Father’s Day message. The devoted dad was reportedly heartbroken when his eldest son Brooklyn didn’t attend any of his 50th birthday celebrations last month.
Adding to the former England captain’s disappointment, Brooklyn also chose not to publicly congratulate him on his recent knighthood, one of his proudest achievements to date.
All eyes were on Brooklyn to see if he would acknowledge his father on Father’s Day. While he remained silent, David and Victoria seemed to address their estranged son in their most candid posts yet.
David began with an apology as he joked about the nickname he still insists they call him. In a poignant statement, he then said he will be there for his children “no matter what”.
On Father’s Day, David posted online: “My most important and favourite job in life is being a dad… I’m so proud of all of you and like daddy ( sorry boys ) tells you every single day I will always be here for you no matter what…He continued: “Mummy thank you for doing the most important part and making me a father there is no greater gift in life than making me a dad… Happy Father’s Day. “He further emphasised his love for his children, stating: “I love you kiddies more than you could imagine.”
His wife Victoria appeared to send a pointed message to her son Brooklyn on Father’s Day, sparking speculation about family tensions.
The fashion icon Victoria Beckham took to social media with a heartwarming video of David and their children singing ‘Sherry’ by the Four Seasons, reminiscing about happier times. In her tribute, Victoria exclaimed: “Happy Father’s Day to the best daddy there is!”
She continued to praise David, saying: “You always lead with love and our beautiful children are a reflection of that. We all love you so so much,” making sure to include all her kids in the loving mention, notably giving Brooklyn a nod.
