Tamara Ecclestone closes businesses as two more arrested for £50m jewellery raid

Tamara Eccleston has reportedly closed two of her businesses just a month after the £50million raid on her Kensington mansion.

The Formula 1 heiress was forced to close down Fifi & Friends as well as her salon, Beauty Show.

It’s believed that Tamara attempted to avoid the closures but was eventually, with her employees being given redundancy pay.

A representative for Tamara told The Sun: “Sadly the Show Beauty and Fifi & Friends businesses have closed following the end of the arrangement with the agency which managed and operated them.

“Efforts had been made over the past weeks to try and avoid the closures. Sadly, these efforts have been unsuccessful and the difficult decision has been made to close.

“Although Tamara has not been involved in the day to day running of the business, Tamara would like to thank the staff for all of their hard work and has ensured that the employees have all received a redundancy package.”

The beauty faced heartache last month when her Kensington mansion was broken into while she was enjoying a Christmas getaway with her husband Jay Rutland and their daughter, Sophia.

It’s believed that a staggering £50 million worth of jewellery was stolen from her home, located on a private road with Diplomatic Security patrolling the area.

Police confirmed that a 47-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were arrested at Stanstead Airport on Friday morning on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary.

These arrests come after a 29-year-old man was detained at Heathrow Airport on Thursday afternoon on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary and money laundering.

A 31-year-old man was also arrested at an East London address on Thursday night, also accused of conspiracy to commit burglary and money laundering.

The Met Police confirmed that all four suspects remain in custody.

It’s believed that the arrests are in relation to the burglary in Palace Green, Kensington, on December 13th when all of Tamara’s jewellery was allegedly stolen.

Tamara’s dad, Bernie Eccleston, said that she was left “angry and shaken” following the incident.

The Met Police confirmed cops were called by security on the scene to the building which is near Kensington Palace.

Daily Star Online has contacted a representative for Tamara for comment.
