EastEnders fans were been left horrified after last night’s explosive instalment of the hit BBC soap opera.
Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) locked Dennis Mitchell in a room below deck on the boat after he discovered that he had been the individual who had been posting online abuse about his son, Bobby.
In the beginning of the dramatic episode, Bobby was rushed to the hospital after being attacked by anti-Muslim thugs.
In a hard-to-watch scene, viewers watched through their fingers as they saw the teenager fighting for his life in a hospital bed.
Dotty later discovered that shockingly, it was his so-called friend Dennis who was the culprit that was posting the racist abuse online.

Not knowing what to do, Dotty confided in her pal Bex Fowler, asking her to keep it quiet as she assured her that she would sort it.
But things escalated after Bex rushed to text Ian to disclose the truth, and the businessman then fled the hospital as he intended to go and hunt Dennis down.
After discovering that his precious son Bobby had suffered a bleed on the brain following the brutal beating, Ian made it his mission to seek revenge on Dennis for inflicting such pain and grief on the vulnerable teen.
As he rushed onto the boat, Ian soon found what he was looking and dragged the culprit below deck.

But the teenage thug Dennis had no intention of apologising as he mocked Ian by branding him disgusting and admitting that he was pathetic due to the fact he had a crush on his mother, Sharon, for over 35 years.
In a shocking moment viewers gasped as Ian punched Dennis and pushed him into a tiny room, locked the door, and left him there alone.
When the boat began to fill with water, the captain urged passengers to get into the life boats.

Ian rushed downstairs to let Dennis out but unfortunately the boat quickly filled with water as Ian dropped the keys and failed to find them to set the teenager free.
And in a horrifying moment, he fled the boat, leaving Dennis to drown and leaving fans with shivers down their spine.
Taking to Twitter to share their horror at the dramatic episode, viewers bashed the ‘badman’ Ian Beale for his cowardly ways.

“Oh my god I have goosebumps all over my body after that. Ian Beale, what a bad man!” wrote one horrified spectator.
“This is the best bloody episode of EastEnders that I’ve ever seen. Poor Dennis, as bad as he was he didn’t deserve to die!” another echoed.
While a third tweeted: “Feel so weird after watching that. It’s like the Titanic, but even worse.”
And a fourth fearful fan quipped: “I honestly don’t know how I’m going to sleep after that. Never did I think i’d be having nightmares about Ian Beale.
