    Oasis fans camp outside Cardiff stadium over 24 hours before reunion tour kicks off

    Oasis fans have already descended on Cardiff ahead of the band’s first reunion tour gig.Britpop royalty Oasis kick off their hotly anticipated Live ’25 tour in the Welsh capital on Friday (July 4) with their show at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. It will see Supersonic siblings Noel and Liam Gallagher play on stage together for the first time in 16 years since the band split in 2009.Oasis super-fans were spotted camping outside of the stadium over 24 hours before the first of the band’s two nights in Cardiff (the second being on Saturday). Punters have come from all over – such as French siblings Anne and Pierre.Fans like Liverpool’s Jas Griffin-Jones have brought tents and queued up in a bid to get the best spot inside the stadium. Oasis lovers were in high spirits as they beamed for the camera.Fans have already grabbed some merch from the stands that have popped up outside of the stadium. American fan Nina posed for pictures in her new Oasis gear.Arian from Chile was proudly rocking his native country’s colours with a Britpop twist. He held up a red, white and blue flag that had “Oasis” printed on it.Punters were also seen buying Oasis merch outside of the stadium ahead of the gig. A number of t-shirts were on offer for those who want to sing along to the band’s hits in style.Some dedicated fans had gone as far as to ink their favourite Oasis songs onto their skin. One had Rock ‘N’ Roll Star on their forearm and another had Supersonic.Around 150,000 fans are expected to turn up to the first two Oasis gigs at the Principality Stadium. The band announced their huge comeback tour last August.Oasis broke up at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris in 2009, following a big bust-up. Noel, 57, quit the Manchester rock group on August 28 2009, saying he “simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer”.The brothers had traded digs for years before patching things up and getting the band back together.
