The former ‘Ghost Whisperer’ actress talks about the labor scene for the FOX police procedural series, claiming she pushed herself to her physical limit to make it look real.
Apr 21, 2021
AceShowbiz –
Jennifer Love Hewitt “broke a lot of blood vessels” in her face while shooting a labour scene in TV show “9-1-1”.
The 42-year-old actress – who plays Maddie Buckley on the show – has revealed she pushed herself to her physical limit in order to make the pregnancy scenes look as realistic as possible.
She explained, “With both of my children, I laboured for a long time, but I pushed only twice, so I got very lucky to only push a couple of times, so I never pushed for like nine hours straight, so it was a lot, I had a very bad migraine, I broke a lot of blood vessels in my face.”
One of the medical experts on set joked about the realness of Jennifer’s performance.

The actress – who has Autumn, seven, and Atticus, five, with Brian Hallisay – told Entertainment Tonight, “One of the medical experts on the show at one point she was like, ‘If a baby doesn’t actually come out of there right now, I am going to be amazed.’ ”
“I was like, ‘You’re telling me sister!’ So it was a lot, but the audience is going to love it. It’s really exciting and it’s a fun episode for Maddie and Chimmy.”
Despite this, Jennifer admitted she didn’t give a lot of thought to the pregnancy scenes before the cameras started rolling.
She shared, “Maddie does end up in labour in a very inopportune time cause she really wants to push through and work right up to the last minute. She has no idea that last minute is going to be during a 911 call.”
“A very serious call by the way and it was really funny in filming because I was like, ‘How does one prepare to go to work and do this scene,’ you know? Normally you try and think about these things, and I was like, ‘I think I just have to not think about it. I think I just have to do it and see what happens.’ ”

Apr 20, 2021
AceShowbiz –
“Hedwig and the Angry Inch” star John Cameron Mitchell has been cast as TV’s Tiger King in a new series based on the hit podcast that helped make Joe Exotic famous.
He will play the larger-than-life zoo owner, born Joseph Schreibvogel, who is currently serving time behind bars for his part in a plot to kill his rival, Carole Baskin, who will be played by comedienne and actress Kate McKinnon.
“I’m thrilled to take on the role of this modern folk antihero,” said Mitchell. “Joe and I are the same age and like him, I grew up queer in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas so I feel like I know a little bit about this guy and his desperate attempt to conquer an inhospitable world.”

Series producer and UCP’s executive vice president of casting and talent development, Steven O’Neill, chimed in, “It’s clear that an over-the-top character like Joe needed someone very special. We are so excited to have John Cameron Mitchell, an adored icon of the LGBTQ community, take on this compelling role.”
About the casting of the “Shrill” actor, O’Neill went on to gush, “His casting speaks to our ongoing vision of universal storytelling, and we can’t wait for our audiences to experience the show.”
Joe Exotic’s life and his battle with Baskin, documented in the podcast “Joe Exotic: Tiger King”, was turned into a Netflix docu-series, which was one of the biggest hits during the pandemic lockdown.
Nicolas Cage has been cast as Joe Exotic in a separate project, which is in development at Amazon.

in TelevisionThe ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ co-stars apparently have squashed their beef after having a fight in the recent episode as they are seen exchanging friendly words on Twitter.
Apr 20, 2021
AceShowbiz –
No more bad blood. “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-stars LaToya Ali and Drew Sidora apparently have squashed their beef after the pair almost had a physical altercation in a recent episode of the Bravo reality show. They were seen exchanging friendly words on Twitter.
“No matter what happened. This is a strong group of women,” Drew wrote on the blue bird app following the Sunday, April 18 episode. “I’m so blessed to get a chance to get to know them and bond with them. We are #BLACKGIRLMAGIC #sisterhood.”
LaToya caught wind of the tweet and reacted by sending some love to her co-star. “We love you Queen Drew,” she replied. She later added, “Keep killing those wigs hunty yaaasss,” alongside some lovely face emojis. To that, Drew replied, “Yes! let’s just start over sis #worldpeace.”

Despite that, fans were not entirely convinced that LaToya was sincere with her tweet. “felt like shade with the wig comment but hey,” one person said in an Instagram comment. “Latoya is unnecessarily mean girl ish,” someone else added.
Calling for LaToya’s firing, a person wrote, “Get rid of Latoya she’s so problematic.” Echoing the sentiment, one other added, “Lol I still can do next season without Latoya,” while another comment read, “Both them need to not be on next season.”
In the latest episode of “RHOA”, Drew and LaToya were involved in a fight while the ladies were gathering at Cynthia Bailey’s cast holiday party. For the party, Cynthia asked the ladies to participate in a White Elephant gift exchange in which each person had to spend $1,000 on their gifts.
LaToya arrived late, prompting Drew to quip, “Oh, perfect timing! She came to get her gift.” The said gift apparently referred to a cassette tape that Drew had prepared. It featured a taped phone call between Drew’s assistant and Prophet Anthony Lott, who allegedly had a romantic relationship with LaToya even though she’s married.
“Drew, shut up,” LaToya snapped at Drew. The latter fired back, “Something is wrong with you. You weren’t looking for God. You were looking for some d**k. You was looking for prophet d**k.” LaToya replied, “And your man looking for some new p***y, ’cause yours is dried up.” She then took the wig and threw it to Drew. Drew then stood up and jumped across Cynthia’s coffee table to attack LaToya before being stopped by security guards.

We’re all stuck at home at the moment, so here are the 50 best movies on Netflix right now.‘Machines, Vaccines and Me’Mike Lindell, the founder of MyPillow, is a frequent target of late-night hosts who skewer him for supporting former President Donald Trump’s baseless claims of election fraud. Having been barred from Twitter over those claims, Lindell launched his own social media platform on Monday with a livestream set to last 48 hours. Jimmy Kimmel’s name has come up more than a few times during what he described as Lindell’s “yellathon.”“It’s quite a production. Phones are ringing, there are crank calls pouring in, the lights went out. He kept ranting and raving about the same things over and over again — machines, vaccines and me,” Kimmel said.“A lot of people said the C.E.O. of a pillow company couldn’t successfully launch a major social media site, and those people were 100 percent correct.” — JIMMY KIMMEL“He’s been going nonstop since 7 o’clock this morning. Number one, he has to actually come into our studio — I need to see him in person. I want to smell the knackwurst in his mustache. Just me and Mike snuggled up side by side in a California king surrounded by sacks of goose feathers.” — JIMMY KIMMELSunday Night SpecialPresident Biden and former President Barack Obama appeared alongside several celebrities on an NBC special Sunday night encouraging Americans to get vaccinated.“Almost no one watched that special. AceShowbiz –
Social media star Zach ‘ZHC’ Hsieh is to replace disgraced James Charles as the new host of YouTube competition series “Instant Influencer”.
Hsieh has 20 million subscribers to his own YouTube channel, with an average 60 million monthly views, and now the 22-year-old Californian will oversee the ongoing search for a top new beauty vlogger, who will scoop a $100,000 (£72,000) prize.
The new season will feature eight episodes, twice as many as the first, and will also be hosted on Hseih’s own sites.
“This is a pivotal moment for Zach to take his career to the next level,” his manager Michael Gordon, who will also executive produce, told Variety in a statement about his client’s new job. “We couldn’t have chosen better partners than [producer] Brian Graden and the YouTube Originals team. We are incredibly excited to see the end product.”

Zach himself has expressed his excitement over the hosting gig. In a statement to Variety, he said, “I am super excited to host Season 2 of ‘Instant Influencer’. I’m so grateful for this huge opportunity given to me by YouTube to pay it forward to other up-and-coming artists. I can’t wait to show everyone our first YouTube originals show!”
YouTube chiefs confirmed Charles would not return as presenter earlier this month (April 21), after he was accused of sexting with minors and soliciting nudes from them. In an apology he confessed some of the alleged exchanges were authentic.
“I trusted the information that was given to me rather than the information I could have and should have gotten myself…,” James insisted, denying he knowingly interacted with minors, while admitting he “f**ked up” and needs to take “accountability” for his actions.

First up in the new episode of the long-running NBC show are Team Kelly Clarkson’s Ryleigh Modig who performs ‘Use Somebody’ and Corey Ward who belts out ‘Already Gone’.
Apr 20, 2021
AceShowbiz –
“The Voice” began its Knockout Rounds of season 20 in a new episode that aired on Monday, April 19. In the new outing, coaches Blake Shelton, Nick Jonas, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson continued searching the best singers to remain in their groups as the remaining contestants took the stage to battle each other.
First up that night were Team Kelly’s Ryleigh Modig who performed “Use Somebody” and Corey Ward who belted out “Already Gone”. Both singers offered show-stopping performances, making it hard for Kelly to decide. Kelly eventually chose Corey as the winner. Fortunately for Ryleigh, all other three coaches hit their buttons to steal her. Ryleigh went on Team John.
The next Knockout battle was between Team Blake’s Ethan Lively and Jordan Matthew Young. For the “country knockout,” Ethan picked “Help Me Hold On”, while Jordan sang “She Talks to Angels” to honor his late friend who died from addiction. Blake admitted that this was one of his toughest decisions, but he later decided to keep Jordan on his team.
Pia Renee and Ciana Pelekai from Team John then hit the stage for the next knockout. Pia opted to sing “What the World Needs Now Is Love” with Ciana choosing “Cuz I Love You” as the one song that she would perform. However, Ciana seemed to struggle to deliver the rap part of the song. John chose Pia as the winner.

???????? Later, Team Nick’s Keegan Ferrell and Dana Monique performed. Keegan went with “Just My Imagination (Running Away with Me)”, while Dana belted out “Nutbush City Limits”. Dana slayed her performance as she showed her personality and energy through the song. While Nick admitted that he was surprised that Keegan nailed the high notes in his performance, the Jonas Brothers member picked Dana as the winner of the battle.
Victor Solomon and Gean Garcia from Team John later performed. That night, Victor hoped to stay on the competition by performing “My Gil” against Gean, who opted to sing “Afterglow”. Blake and Nick went with Victor, while Kelly chose Gean. Eventually, John decided to keep Victor on his team.
Concluding the night were Team Blake’s Andrew Marshall and Pete Mroz. Andrew first hit the stage to offer a powerful performance of “I Won’t Give Up”. Pete followed it up with his rendition of “Before You Go”. Both singers impressed the coach and Nick even felt a tinge of regret in letting Andrew go previously. After much consideration, Blake chose Pete as the winner. Nick later hit his button to steal Andrew back.
