Now, the show will be revived with a six-episode limited series, Starz said on Thursday.Created by John Enbom, Dan Etheridge, Paul Rudd and Rob Thomas, the ensemble comedy lasted only two seasons in its original run. Now it is available to stream on Starz and Hulu, and in recent years, the popularity grew to such an extent that there started to be talk of a possible movie or a reunion. The network has decided to give fans what they’ve been asking for.All four creators are returning for the revival series, with Enbom as showrunner. It is unclear how many of the cast members will return.Part of the show’s allure is the chemistry of its comedic ensemble, all costumed in white collared shirts and pink bow ties: Lizzy Caplan, Ryan Hansen, Jane Lynch, Ken Marino, Adam Scott and Martin Starr. (Lynch left the show for “Glee” and was replaced by Jennifer Coolidge and then Megan Mullally.) They all play cater-waiters with Hollywood dreams who are instead spending their days passing out hors d’oeuvres and schlepping cases of wine and cheese from one party to the next.Thomas said in a news release that after the cast reunited in 2019 for a panel hosted by Vulture, they were determined to get the team back together again.“The cast is so busy these days that finding a window where we can do it may require trigonometry,” he said, “but we’re determined to make it happen.”Writing for The New York Times last month, Alexis Soloski said of the sitcom: “It has the DNA of a workplace comedy in that it brings together people who would never know each other otherwise. But it’s also a hangout comedy in that the waiters work as little as possible.”AdvertisementContinue reading the main story More

It is said that the deal for the Golden Globe-winning actress to play the former first lady in the upcoming new season of the FX series has been in talks for months and only recently got closed.

AceShowbiz – FX’s “Impeachment: American Crime Story” has reportedly found its Hillary Clinton in Edie Falco. Multiple reports state that the Golden Globe-winning actress has been tapped to play the 67th United States secretary.
It is said that the deal for Falco to play the former first lady has been in talks for months and only recently got closed. Should the report be true, the multiple Emmy winner will star alongside Clive Owen who has been cast as Bill Clinton in the new installment of the anthology series.

The scandal ultimately led to the president’s impeachment. After being impeached for not telling the truth about his affair with Lewinsky in December 1998, Clinton was eventually acquitted by the senate in February 1999.
It is also set to explore “the overlooked dimensions of women who found themselves caught up in the scandal and political war that cast a long shadow over the Clinton Presidency.” Sarah Burgess writes the script with Ryan Murphy producing.
FX has yet to announce the premiere date for “Impeachment: American Crime Story”.

Fans 'Pissed' After Being Misled by 'RHONJ' Trailer

    Bravo

The said promo appears to hint that Melissa Gorga may be cheating on her husband Joe as Teresa Giudice says, ‘Last night, the owner of the restaurant asked Melissa for her number.’

    Mar 5, 2021
AceShowbiz – Bravo is under fire after unveiling a trailer for “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” season 11. Fans have taken to Twitter to slam the TV network for its misleading edit regarding Melissa Gorga’s relationship with her husband Joe Gorga in the said trailer.
The promo appeared to hint that Melissa could be cheating on Joe. “Last night, the owner of the restaurant asked Melissa for her number,” cast member Teresa Giudice said in the trailer before the camera panned to Melissa who was texting someone.
However, in a new preview that was released on Wednesday, March 3, it was revealed that the plot point was only a prank. Feeling played, viewers quickly took to social media to put Bravo on blast over the misleading edit. “Me when I realise the Melissa cheating story line is a joke,” one person wrote on the blue bird app.

“Not Melissa ‘cheating’ being a prank I’m so pissed at these editors lol,” another user said. “When you realize Bravo pranked you by editing the #RHONJ season 11 trailer to make it look like there was a ‘Melissa is cheating’ storyline, even though it was all just a joke. #RHONJ,” one fan posted.
While the cheating is nothing but a prank, Melissa did speak about the struggle in her marriage to Teresa’s brother Joe. “Listen, I’m not gonna deny that we went through a rough, like year-and-a-half, and I would say it started right before the pandemic,” she told Page Six back in February.
“I feel like as I become more and more independent in certain ways, it really is a struggle for him. I hate that. It shouldn’t be a struggle and it really is. And we really go through it and we’re very raw and real and honest with it. So you’re going to have to see how that all unfolds. But it’s very real for us,” Melissa, who shares daughter Antonia (15), sons Gino (13) and Joey (10) with Joe, shared.

According to one of the returning cast members David Schwimmer, the much-anticipated ‘Friends’ reunion will start shooting ‘in a little over a month’ after getting delayed due to pandemic.

    Mar 5, 2021
AceShowbiz – David Schwimmer has confirmed the “Friends” reunion will begin filming soon.
The actor has revealed the long awaited anniversary special of the iconic television series – which also features Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, and Courteney Cox – will finally start filming “in a little over a month” after being delayed from May 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking to Andy Cohen on SiriusXM, he said, “Oh, it’s happening. Actually, in a little over a month, I’m heading out to Los Angeles. So, finally, I mean, we figured out a way to film it safely, and there’s going to be a portion of it that we film outside because of, you know, for safety protocols.”

Meanwhile, Jennifer previously insisted the reunion special will be “even more exciting” because of the delay.
“Unfortunately it’s very sad that we had to move it again,” she said. “It was, ‘How do we do this with live audiences?’ This is not a safe time. Period. That’s the bottom line. It’s not a safe time to do it … It’s going to be super.”
“You know what? This has also given us more time to make it even more exciting and more fun than it would have been. So I choose to see it as the glass is half-full that it got postponed. Look, we’re not going anywhere. You’re never going to get rid of ‘Friends’, sorry. You’re stuck with us for life guys.”

Prince William and Queen Elizabeth II Think Meghan and Harry's Interview Is 'Unfair'

    WENN/Danny Martindale

A source also shares that the British royals are ‘furious’ about what might be revealed in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

    Mar 5, 2021
AceShowbiz – It is just days before “Oprah with Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special” airs on March 7. According to a new report, Prince William and Queen Elizabeth II are not entirely happy with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tell-all interview as they’re worried that it will badly affect their image.
“They feel that by sharing [Harry and Meghan’s] side of the story, the entire royal family will be painted in an unfair way,” an insider claims to Us Weekly. The source also adds that the royals are “furious” about what might be revealed in the interview.
Meghan and Harry indeed seemingly will drop some bombshell revelation in the sit-down with Oprah Winfrey for the CBS special. A new trailer saw the Duchess of Sussex accusing the Palace of “perpetuating falsehoods” about her and her husband.

“I don’t know how they could expect that after all of this time, we would still just be silent if there is an active role that the firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us,” the former “Suits” star said. “And if that comes with risk of losing things – I mean, there’s a lot that’s been lost already.”
Harry also got candid in a previous promo as Oprah teased about “some pretty shocking things.” The British prince later talked about his concern when it came to his wife’s safety. “My biggest concern was history repeating itself. I’m really relieved and happy to be sitting here, talking to you with my wife by my side because I can’t begin to imagine what it must have been for her going through this process by herself all these years ago,” he told the host.
“Oprah with Meghan and Harry” is set to feature Oprah speaking with “Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from stepping into life as a Royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure.” Prince Harry will join them later as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family.

Chris Harrison Determined to Return to 'The Bachelor' After Defending Contestant's Racist Past

    WENN

The reality TV show host plans and wants to be back on the popular dating show as a host after apologizing for defending Rachael Kirkconnell over her racist past.

    Mar 5, 2021
AceShowbiz – Chris Harrison, the popular host of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette”, hopes to return to the U.S. dating shows after stepping down amid a race row.
Harrison was hammered by critics after he defended “The Bachelor” contestant Rachael Kirkconnell against claims suggesting that some of her social media posts had been racist.
Kirkconnell, who is one of the finalists on the current season of the show, was slammed for posting photos of herself appearing in front of a Confederate flag – considered a link to slavery by many – and at an antebellum-themed party, which appeared to honour an age when indentured servitude for African-Americans was widespread in the Deep South.
Harrison took aim at Rachael’s critics during an interview with former “The Bachelorette” star Rachel Lindsay, claiming the “woke police” were out to get her.
Days after the interview aired, Chris apologised and announced he was temporarily stepping down as the host of the dating shows but, in a new interview with “Good Morning America”, he made it clear he plans to return.

“I plan to be back and I want to be back,” he said. “And I think this franchise can be an important beacon of change. I know that change is felt, not just by me, but by many others. And we are excited and willing to do the work to show that progress.”
He also issued a new apology, stating, “I am saddened and shocked at how insensitive I was in that interview with Rachel Lindsay. I can’t believe I didn’t speak against antebellum parties, what they stand for. I didn’t say it then and I want to say it now: those parties are not OK, past, present, future.”
“I didn’t speak from my heart. And that is to say that I stand against all forms of racism, and I am deeply sorry to Rachel Lindsay and to the black community… I am an imperfect man. I made a mistake and I own that. I believe that mistake doesn’t reflect who I am or what I stand for. I am committed to the progress not just for myself but also for the franchise.”
Harrison also turned on his fans, who have criticised Lindsay, blaming her for the host’s decision to step down.
“To anyone who is throwing hate towards Rachel Lindsay, please stop,” he added. “It’s unacceptable.”
