    Kourtney Says Everyone Originally Rejected 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'

    Kourtney Kardashian recalls the family’s attempt to shop around their reality television show and claims no one initially wanted to pick up the project until they met Ryan Seacrest.

    Kourtney Kardashian claims “no one” initially wanted to pick up her family’s hit reality TV show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”.

    The Poosh mogul and her family have all become global stars on the back of the hit programme, but Kourtney has claimed that TV companies were reluctant to support the idea to begin with.

    She said, “They came to the store and the girl was like, ‘Oh my God, you and your sisters! This is everything.’ ”

    “So then we started trying to pitch a show, like, about the sisters. I remember we went to E!, we went to everything – I think no one wanted it or something.”

    Kourtney revealed that a meeting between Kris Jenner and Ryan Seacrest played a big part in the show coming to fruition.

    She told the “Emergency Contact” podcast, “They introduced Ryan to my mum and then we made a reel, and it just was picked up right away.”

    “I think something happened with like, Lindsay Lohan’s show and they needed filler, and so they were like, ‘Oh, this is going to be a one-season thing.’ ”

    “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” is set to end later this year, but the hit series has transformed the lives of the Kardashian/Jenner family, helping to make the likes of Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe household names around the world.

    Revealing how the show has evolved over the years, Kourtney added, “It’s hard when you first start filming because I would think about like, ‘Oh my God, what did I say? What did I do?’ ”

    “But then I didn’t realise how little of it is actually used, and that you also don’t know how editors are going to edit it and make you look, or what the intention is. I think once we started seeing edits, I felt more comfortable.”

      The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ member is officially announced to join her beastie, TikTok star Addison Rae, in the upcoming movie reboot ‘He’s All That’.

      AceShowbiz – Kourtney Kardashian will star opposite BFF Addison Rae in upcoming reboot “He’s All That”.
      The mother-of-three announced her latest gig in a post on her Instagram page as she shared a snap of herself in bed reading a script and wrote alongside it, “studying @hesallthatmovie.”
      Addison then commented on Kourtney’s post, writing, “worrkkkkkkk.”
      Following the Instagram interaction, the “He’s All That” official account reshared Kourtney’s picture on their page, and revealed the reality star’s character name in the movie.
      “Introducing Jessica Miles Torres #HesAllThat,” they wrote.

      The pair will appear alongside “Cobra Kai” star Tanner Buchanan in the gender-bending remake of Rachael Leigh Cook’s 1999 classic “She’s All That”.
      R. Lee Fleming, the screenwriter behind the original, is working on the remake, in which Rae will play a popular high schooler, who takes on a challenge to turn a loser into a prom king.
      “He’s All That” won’t be Kourtney’s first acting role – she made her acting debut on soap opera “One Life to Live” in 2011.
      Kourtney’s casting news comes as her family reality TV show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” is coming to an end.
      As the ratings are declining, the show will not return to TV after the current season concludes.
      The matriarch and momager Kris Jenner blamed social media for the ‘KUWTK” ending. “When we first started, there was no Instagram or Snapchat or other social media platforms,” she claimed. “The world has changed. Now there are so many, the viewer doesn’t have to wait three or four months to see an episode. We can give them all of the information anyone would ever want to know in real time.”
      Rumor has it, the family are eying to take the show to streaming service after being abandoned by E!.

      AceShowbiz – Kourtney Kardashian has always shown her decreasing will to film for her family TV show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” to the point she announced that she quit the E! reality TV series. In her cover story for the July/August issue of Vogue Arabia, the Poosh founder gave insight into her big decision.
      “I have been filming the show non-stop for 13 years, 19 seasons and six spin-off seasons,” the mother of three revealed to the magz. “I was feeling unfulfilled and it became a toxic environment for me to continue to have it occupy as much of my life as it was.”
      Despite that, Kourtney shared she’s thankful for the show. “I am grateful for the incredible memories and life the show has given me and my family,” she shared.
      During the interview, Kourtney also talked about spending some time with her kids, Mason (10), Penelope (7) and Reign (5). “I usually take one day on the weekend where we have no plans, we hang out at the house in pajamas or sweats. We sleep in. I like to not be on a schedule on that day,” she explained.
      Kourtney announced that she stepped away from the long-running series, which also stars her family including Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner, in an April episode after a physical altercation with Kim as the latter criticized her work ethic.
      “I’m definitely disappointed in myself. I don’t think that my response was matching up with what her exact comment was,” Kourtney said of the brawl. “Being violent isn’t the answer, but it was just the build up of years and months and everything.”
      “I just feel like every day, it’s like they just pick on me and I just can’t do it anymore,” a tearful Kourt expressed during a sit down with pals Malika Haqq and Khadijah Haqq McCray. “I feel like I’m almost more mad at Khloe than Kim, ’cause I expect it from Kim. But, like, Khloe just takes everyone’s side, always, except for me-when I’m not even asking her opinion.”
      Eventually, Kourtney thought it was time for her to exit the show. “I have decided to take a big step back from filming and really just pick and choose what I will allow cameras to follow,” Kourtney shared. “I think just now when I have something that I find is interesting to film, or that I would feel excited to film, that I do that.”
