Coronation Street’s Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) will finally confess his bigamy to his two wives, Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) and Charlie (Sian Reeves).
The Coronation Street cast member finds himself in the dog house with Sally, as she learns that not only does he have a second wife, he has already turned himself into the police.
Tim is horrified when he asks Charlie for a divorce, but she says that she hasn’t applied as she thinks they should give their marriage a go.
Is Tim going to start seeing his wife behind Sally’s back to try and keep her sweet?
It seems so, and it looks like it will end in a shocking split, much to the devastation of fans.
Tombola soap stats, which have been exclusively given to Daily Star Online, have shown that Corrie is the soap with the highest number of marriage splits due to invalidity, dissolvement or annulment.
12% of marriages in Corrie have ended due to these reasons, with one of the main causes being bigamy.
In comparison, Emmerdale has 7%, while EastEnders has 6%, making Corrie by the far the most unsuccessful in people sticking to one person.
One notable example is Peter Barlow, who married Lucy Richards and Shelley Unwin at the same time, with the latter being declared invalid.
Fans have already sensed the chemistry between the pair, and have already predicted that they will have an affair.
Could the pair end up getting together behind Sally’s back, and will she find out?
Perhaps Tim and Charlie will end up together, as she seems to making it clear she has feelings for him.
But Tim may have be looking at bigger problems, as his bigamy confession could land him in prison for seven years.
Is he going to leave the soap to serve time, and what will that mean for his marriages?
Corrie continues on Monday at 7.30pm on ITV.
