Little Mix fans miss Jesy Nelson as Jonathan Ross gives them accent challenge

Little Mix fans have been left really missing Jesy Nelson after Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show without her.

The sizzling singer is taking an “extended break” from the group for “personal medical reasons”, meaning she did not appear with her bandmates on the ITV show.

But fans were pining after Jesy after host Jonathan Ross got the other Little Mix ladies to perform some accents for the others to guess.

It reminded fans of Jesy’s iconic Jamaican accent impression, which went viral on social media.

One viewer said: “You’ll never beat Jesy’s Jamaican accent.”

Another wrote: “Jonathan Ross making Little Mix do accents without Jesy Nelson. Criminal.”

A third tweeted: “Little Mix doing all these accents yet [Jesy’s Jamaican accent] hasn’t been mentioned… missed opportunity.”

While a fourth added: “Shame Jesy isn’t there to do her Jamaican accent,” adding some laughing emojis.

Some of the accents the girls had to do included Irish and America, while the other guests Joe Wicks and Michael McIntyre also got involved.

Earlier in the show, Jonathan addressed Jesy’s absence on the show and wished her well, telling the Little Mix ladies that everyone was throwing their support around the missing band member.

The pop princesses will soon celebrate their 10th anniversary together after winning The X Factor back in 2011.

Perrie said: “I don’t think we expected it to be this hard. When you’re young you think, ‘Everyone’s gonna love me and ask for my autograph,” but when you get to it, it’s like, ‘Holy s***balls.’ We don’t sleep, we don’t rest, but it’s been amazing.”

Jade added: “We’ve got each other which is the beauty of being in a band. We’ve got friends and family that keep us grounded.”

However they clearly work hard, as Leigh-Anne said: “I feel we don’t stop working – when is the cut off point? There’s always something to reply to.

“The thing where it pops up and tells you your screen time… is eight hours a day a lot?”

The Jonathan Ross Show airs Saturdays at 9.50pm on ITV
