Paul Weller is ready to be a school caretaker if lockdown continues.
The former frontman of The Jam is eyeing up a part-time job to beat boredom.
He said: “To be honest, I’m scared at the thought of another six or seven months not working. Maybe I’ll make another album. I’m thinking of getting a part-time job.
“I might retrain like that Tory [Chancellor Rishi Sunak] suggested.
“I might go for something like school janitor – cleaning out the s**thouse. That would be good.”
The Surrey-born singer, 62, would be following in the footsteps of his mum Ann, who worked as a cleaner.

Weller, who once wrote a song called Art School, coped with life in the first lockdown by writing a new record. The Modfather started work on his latest release – Fat Pop (Volume 1) – in March.
But he only managed to put the finishing touches to it after strict restrictions were lifted in August.
It is due for release in May next year, with a tour set to follow a month later if life is back to normal by then.
Weller said: “Hopefully it will be out on my birthday, May 25.
“It will be two years since I’ve played live, which is unprecedented.
“I’ll be 63 by then, nearly at retirement age. It’ll probably be my farewell tour. Hopefully not.”
