The Chase’s Mark Labbett apparently fancied a new ‘do this week, as Friday’s viewers of the show spotted his hair had been styled differently.
The brainiac always works the same hairstyle – jet black hair, shaven into a neat short back and sides.
However, on Friday’s episode, Mark’s hair looked longer at the top and was parted at the side in a combover style, gliding over his head.
The subtle makeover didn’t go amiss with eagle-eyed viewers, who took to Twitter to remark on his glossy barnet.
One said: “Think The beast and Paul sinha go to the same barber #TheChase.”

“The Beast loves a black hair dye,” speculated a second.
And a third penned: “What’s going on with the Barnett??”
Back in July, Mark let fans know he’d taken a trip to the barber’s, having requested a “go faster” chop.
When fans wondered how he’d managed to get an appointment post-lockdown, he confessed: “Just know the owner.”

Mark isn’t the only Chaser whose hair has attracted attention from viewers – his co-star Jenny Ryan has responded to speculation over her own ‘do in the past.
The Vixen is known for her voluminous flame-red locks, which are usually styled in a beehive, complete with a sweeping fringe.
Many have wondered whether the Bolton quizzer uses extensions to achieve the dramatic height of the beehive – but Jenny previously confirmed it’s all-natural.

Clearing things up three years ago, she took to Twitter to announce: “Yes, it’s all my own hair. Extra backcombing for the Celeb specials.”
Jenny does, however, admit to dying her hair to achieve her signature shade of fire-engine red, and has shared selfies from the hairdressers in the past.
