One of Caroline Flack’s closest friend shared an extremely heartbreaking post about the tragic TV present to social media yesterday.
Celebrity hairstylist Lou Teasdale posted a picture of the Love Island star holding her now eight-year-old daughter Lux as a baby, with the caption: “This little lady misses you ‘Calorine’.
She then added: “Anyone have any advice for an eight-year-old learning about grief?”
The sweet photograph shows Caroline and Lux starring at each other, both with a look of awe and excitement, as Lou’s followers would have no doubt been made aware of how fond the two were of each other.
Lou added of her daughter: “She’s lost two very special people who lived with us in the space of 12 months and I wanna make sure I’m saying the right thing – if there’s such a thing.”
Lou also shared several snaps of them together, penning: “Here’s us like 5 days ago really happy lolling telling each other we’re really fit AND funny and 5 years ago, and 10 years ago. I love you. I hope you are at peace now. Til the end my beautiful friend, Caroline x”
She and Caroline were very close friends, with Lou, 36, even spending the day and night at Caroline’s house on Valentine’s Day.
Lou was also one of the last people to Caroline her alive after the 40-year-old was found dead at her London home on Saturday after taking her own life.
Fans have been extremely vocal in questioning just how much support Caroline had been given during what was clearly a difficult time in her life.
Good Morning Britain yesterday paid tribute to the television presenter, with Richard Madeley and Ranvir Singh hosting the show.
They repeated a message from ITV on today’s show, saying that they were in regular contact with Caroline, offering her support before her tragic passing.
Richard told viewers: “I’ve got to say one thing ITV have asked us to make it clear because there has been some discussion about it.

“That they did keep in close contact with Caroline since this incident, this domestic incident and they were constantly offering her assistance and help, and they want us to make that clear on this programme.”
Caroline’s family made a statement about her devastating death, saying: “We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February.
“We would ask that the press both respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time.”
A lawyer for the Flack family confirmed that Caroline took her own life and was found in her east London flat on Saturday.
Following her death, an ITV spokeswoman said: “Everybody at Love Island and ITV is shocked and saddened by this desperately sad news.
