Cuba Gooding Jr has been accused of raping a woman twice at a New York hotel, according to court documents.
The Jerry Maguire actor is alleged to have assaulted the unnamed woman in 2013.
A lawsuit filed at Manhattan’s federal court the week alleges that the actor met the woman in a VIP lounge at Greenwich Village.
His lawyer Mark Heller said the allegations were not true and the alleged incident never took place.
Heller said: “My client is totally innocent of any of these false allegations and we’re confident it will be dismissed.
“She’s probably just somebody who’s looking for some glory to bask in the publicity and notoriety of Cuba Gooding Jr.’s case.”

The woman, who had not been named, claims she agreed to Gooding’s hotel as friends.
She claims that they ended up in his hotel room after he told her he needed to change his clothes.
She goes on to allege that the actor then turned on music and “pinned her down while he raped her twice”.
She adds she “repeatedly said ‘no’ during the alleged incident.

The woman is filing for unspecified damages adding she was left with “emotional pain, suffering, and a loss of enjoyment and life”.
Gooding became a household name thanks to his role in Jerry Maguire.
He starred alongside Tom Cruise and Renée Zellweger in the 1996 film.
Gooding’s new allegations come after he pleaded not guilty to six charges of groping multiple women.

Gooding denied claims by a woman that he “rubbed his groin and pelvis against her buttocks while simultaneously grabbed her buttocks and breast with his hand”.
The woman claims the incident took place in 2001.
In 2019 he was also accused of groping three different women in 2018.
Gooding denied allegations he “grabbed a woman’s buttocks and breast and forcibly kissed her, inserting his tongue into her mouth”.
