David Beckham has started trends with a number of hairstyles over the years, from the noughties hairband to the controversial man bun.
But this week, former footballer, married to Victoria Beckham, was spotted with a completely different hairstyle, putting his natural head of hair on show.
In place of his usual dark blonde locks, 45-year-old David’s hair was visibly thinner on top, shorn close to his head.
Spotted on a trip to a local deli in the village of Burford, David picked up supplies with his daughter Harper, eight, in tow.
In recent times, David’s hair has often been concealed by a hat or a bandana, making a fashion statement while also covering up his barnet.

The new hairstyle comes as a surprise to fans, following his 2019 promotional photoshoot with the whiskey brand Haig Club.
In the snaps, David’s hair was noticeably fuller, styled into a quiff as he showed off the brand of premium booze.
It also appeared thick and full during an appearance at Wimbledon last summer, while the footie star took in the tennis matches from the rafters.
Back in 2012, the former footballer insisted he would never undertake a hair transplant, revealing he would rather go bald.

Speaking to Daily Star, he said: “There is definitely nothing wrong with doing that. But I don’t think personally I would. If I do start showing signs of going bald, then I will shave it off.”
Beck’s hairstyles have changed throughout his rise to fame, starting with his floppy middle-parting in the 90s, featuring his signature golden highlights.
At the turn of the millennium, David channelled a military look when he shaved off his hair entirely in favour of a buzz cut.

Helping to keep his hair off his face on the pitch, the dad-of-four worked a few hairbands in the years that followed, scraping back his honey-blonde locks.
Jumping on board with the trend, Becks briefly rocked a man bun back in 2018, tied low at the back of his head.
More recently, however, a swooping comb-over, cut short at the sides, has been his barnet of choice.

David’s wife, Victoria Beckham, came under fire recently after it was revealed she had furloughed a percentage of her staff during the lockdown.
However, the businesswoman and fashion designer decided to reverse the decision after fans fumed over the use of taxpayer’s money.
Speaking to The Guardian, the former Spice Girl singer insisted her staff’s welfare meant “everything” to her.
She said: “We will not now be drawing on the government furlough scheme.
“At the beginning of the lockdown, the shareholders agreed with senior management to furlough a small proportion of staff.
“At that point we didn’t know how long the lockdown might last or its likely impact on the business. The welfare of my team and our business means everything to me.”
