Heartbreaking aftermath of Mariah Carey being forced to admit pregnancy on TV

The awkward moment Ellen De Generes ‘forced’ Mariah Carey to reveal she was pregnant has resurfaced on Reddit.

The diva was left squirming during her appearance on Ellen’s US talkshow in 2008.

Ellen popped open a bottle of champagne and to the singer’s horror joked it was pregnancy celebration in a bid to see if she really was up the duff.

Mariah, who had vowed to keep any baby news secret before her appearance, awkwardly refused to sip the fizz, and said: “I can’t believe you did this to me, Ellen. This is peer pressure!”

But the presenter piled on the pressure, asking the Grammy-winner again if she was preggers, to which Carey replied, “I can’t believe her… I didn’t say that. No, no, no. My mother would be at home like, on the computer like, ‘What are you talking about?’ We will let you know when we’re going to have a family.”
