Katie Price bags personalised pink mobility scooter after horror surgery

Katie Price may have been warned she won’t be able to walk for months but she’s determined to get better in typically lavish style.

The Page 3 legend turned business woman has been spotted rocking a bright pink custom scooter to get around as she recovers.

The 42-year-old was seen trying out the swanky motor at her Sussex home while her 13-year-old daughter Princess looked on.

Switching from her personalised pink wheelchair, which is rumoured to be worth £10,000, Katie perched on the motorised buggy as she was shown how to operate it.

Holding her cast-covered legs out in front of her, the mum-of-five looked a far cry from her carefree self but seemed in high spirits as she checked out her new wheels.

Daily Star Online revealed over the weekend how Pricey’s pals fear she’s burned out and have begged the mum-of-five to slow down after the past few weeks have pushed her to her limit.

A rep for Katie Price told Daily Star Online: “Katie has been through a lot over the past few weeks that would push anyone to their limit.

“She’s decided to take a step back and focus on herself for a bit – right now she’s burned out and needs much needed rest and recuperation.

“Katie’s bank holiday is going to be a quiet affair surrounded by her close friends and family who care about her.”

Shutting down rumours that Katie’s new boyfriend Carl Woods has not supported her enough through her painful surgery on her feet, Katie’s rep explained how the buff lad has even met her family.

“Carl has been Katie’s rock through all of this and is by her side, he is Katie’s happy place , he has been welcomed into the family with open arms,” Katie’s rep added.

“She likes to think she’s superwoman and tries to be everything for everyone but in reality Katie just needs to take time to focus on herself and get back to full health.”

Katie’s world was turned upside down during a horror accident in Turkey last month.

The tabloid regular was enjoying a family trip to a theme park when she jumped off a wall and shattered her feet and ankles.

After being rushed to A&E and having her feet placed in casts, Katie returned back to the UK before undergoing gruelling six hour surgery.
