Katie Price announced that she was ‘taking a break’ from ‘horrible’ social media after being left ‘heartbroken’ over the death of her friend Caroline Flack.
The My Crazy Life star shared her message to her Instagram stories. In the white typed post written on an all-black background she said: “I’ve decided to take a break from this horrible media world.”
Referring to the devastating news that Caroline had taken her own life and was found dead at her flat on Saturday, she continued: “I’m absolutely heartbroken.
She added: “I’m having a dramatic change in my life for the better. I don’t want to have to read or see anything in the press about me, my family & friends or my exes.
She ended the post defiantly and with clear emotion stating: “This has all got to stop! I’ll be back when I’m ready.”

Katie had already commented on her shock of Caroline’s death upon first hearing the sad news at the weekend, again taking to social media to share: “Devastated shocked we were only messaging not long ago to meet up as she wanted me my support RIP” (sic)

Kerry, 39, uploaded private messages onto social media showing that the former Xtra Factor presenter asked her for advice after she allegedly assaulted her boyfriend Lewis Burton, 27, in December.
During the interview on the news channel, Kerry admitted that she felt “regret” at making the private conversation between them public and confessed she was “unsure if it was the right thing to do”.

Former I’m A Celeb winner Kerry said: “In regards to the messages I shared, I don’t know if I did the right thing by putting those messages up on social media.”
She fought back the tears as she continued: “Her death cannot be in vain and we have to stand together and show people what it is like for people like me and Caroline in this industry where you make a mistake and you aren’t even allowed to make a mistake in privacy.
