Paris Hilton says she was “hit, strangled and grabbed” by five “abusive” ex-boyfriends.
The 39-year-old socialite has previously discussed the emotional and mental abuse she received while attending boarding school in Utah.
Paris has since opened up about the alleged abuse she went through with some of her ex-boyfriends.
The Simple Life star claimed to PEOPLE: “I went through multiple abusive relationships.
“I was strangled, I was hit, I was grabbed aggressively. I put up with things no one should.”

The media personality will be diving deeper into the abuse she suffered throughout several stages of her life in her upcoming YouTube documentary This Is Paris.
She added: “I had become so used to [abusive behaviour] at Provo, that it made me feel like it was normal.
“They all seemed like such nice guys and then the true colours would show.
“They’d get jealous, or defensive or try to control me. And there would come a point where they would become physically, verbally, and emotionally abusive.

“I didn’t really understand what love or relationships were. I thought that them getting so crazy meant that they were in love with me. Looking back, I can’t believe I let people treat me like that.”
Despite her past relationships, the Hilton heiress has found true happiness with her boyfriend of nine months, Carter Reum, who is a 39-year-old entrepreneur.
“I feel so safe with him,” she said.
