Emily, who works at a hospital in Surrey, took the test at work which revealed the antibodies in her system.
Speaking to The Sun, Peter told the publication how they kept it from “everyone” when Emily was ill, including the kids.
The pair decided not to tell Amelia, six, Theo, three, and his older children Princess, 12, and Junior, 15, as Emily “didn’t want to worry anyone”.

Peter, added: “I thought, ‘I can’t get it. What will we do then?’'”
Emily is now recovered and back at work at the hospital as well as Junior.
But a worried Peter added: “Just because she’s had it doesn’t mean she’s immune. Is she even more likely to get it again?”
