Good Morning Britain star Piers Morgan has hit out at online trolls after he was attacked with words for instructing people to stay at home as the sun sizzled over the weekend.
Not being one to hold back, Pier’s took to his official Twitter account to vent his frustration after many Brits took no notice of the government guidelines to remain indoors while the pandemic continues to surge.
During his rant he called those who continued to disobey orders “selfish b*****ds” for sunbathing during the hottest day of the year.
His Tweet landed after many Brits were shammed for continuing to lap up the sunshine and were spotted enjoying beverages outside when these very actions have been prohibited by officials.

Sharing a snippet of a packed Richmond Bridge in Surrey, that was heaving with people, Pier’s penned: “Traitors to every NHS worker.”
As the 20c weather seemed enticing, Piers continued to air warning to sun lovers who could be tempted to break the rules.
He wrote: “Sunbathing is against the rules that have been set out for important public health reasons to save lives and help the NHS.
“This could not be any clearer. If you go out today to sunbathe, you are a selfish, reckless b*****d.”

It wasn’t long before one keyboard warrior decided to take on Piers, questioning the stars lavish quarantine surroundings.
He said: “Wonder if Piers Morgan is giving up his massive garden and pool in sympathy with all the families in cramped council flats he thinks are selfish reckless b*****s for enjoying a bit of sun?”
Not wanting to shy away from an online debate, Piers struck back: “For all those asking, this is the size of my ‘massive f**ing garden’ at my London home where I will be for the duration of this crisis.”
Sharing a picture of a seemingly modest sized garden with no sunlight, Piers added: “I can only apologise for the ostentatious, luxurious enormity of it.”

Continuing he said: “I’m in London with no pool, and a very small garden. I’ve lent my LA home to a friend who had a very small one.
“And my parents are self-isolating at our Sussex home.
“Hope this helps with your concerns, which have nothing to do with someone’s ability to observe simple rules.”
As sunbathers ignored the two-metre social distancing rule, Health Secretary Matt Hancock had no choice but to vocalise a harsh warning that a total ban on outdoor exercise could come into force if people continue to ignore the lockdown measures.
The news lands as Britain’s current Covid-19 death toll has risen to 4,974 after 621 more people died.
