Robbie Williams is desperate to play James Bond in the hit British film franchise one Daniel Craig hangs up his hat as 007 following the release of No Time To Die.
The Rock DJ singer has limited acting experience but has called on bosses take him seriously in his dream of playing the crime fighting spy.
Robbie, 46, said: “I want to throw my hat into the ring and be the next James Bond… but people don’t know what type of range I have got.
“I have range as an actor, this cheeky thing is all an act.

“I am earnest and I seldom crack a smile in real life. I think very deeply.”
Not stopping there the former Take That star went on to name Bond director Barbara Broccoli before continuing: “So yeah, I would like to throw my hat into the ring for the role of James Bond.
“People don’t take me seriously and they should.”

Daniel Craig took over the role of James Bond in 2006 for Casino Royale.
Since then he has starred in a further six films on the franchise.
Daniel confirmed he has zero plans to remain on as Bond after he promised to quit the iconic role in the past.
He told German media: “Yes – someone else needs to have a go.”
Admitting he’s not sure what roles he would like to take on in the future, the buff star added: “I’m in the happy situation, where I’m sent many scripts and offers me quite different roles.
“My only plan is to work with good and nice people.”
