Amanda Holden was forced to dig through the archives to find a vacation snapshot this week, having cancelled her holiday due to the pandemic.
The Britain’s Got Talent star, 49, shared a throwback of herself strolling along the shore, looking out to the ocean.
Wearing a teal triangle bikini, the mum-of-two could be seen soaking in the sunshine on the jaunt abroad, her skin bronzed and glowing.
Amanda paired the cossie with a tropical-print kaftan slung over her shoulders, carrying a straw beach hat in one hand.
While the sunny snapshot left many yearning for summer holidays to come, in her caption, Amanda confessed she’d recently axed her plans to travel.
The singer explained: “I cancelled my holiday on #BoxingDay .. it was hard. But I was flying with a negative test and everything was in place for a safe holiday with my family.”

Amanda went on to criticise the government’s handling of the Covid pandemic, pointing out testing for those arriving in the UK was only brought in recently.
She went on: “WHY THEN, ARE THE UK ONLY JUST making the decision to test for covid for people coming into our country ?? We’ve all sacrificed so much in different ways .. most of us have been responsible.”
Amanda praised the nation for their resilience in following Covid guidelines and staying strong throughout the pandemic, highlighting the sacrifices that had been made.
She said: “Had so much goodwill and respect for each other. Joined together and marched on through this .. it’s made me seethe this morning hearing it on the news -the senseless year of neglect of Government rules at our borders. .. other countries have done it before us.
“Why has it taken us so long? No one seems to have an answer… or be questioning it?!!”
Amanda pointed out the number of cases in the UK might have dropped dramatically if testing at the UK borders had been brought in sooner.

She said: “Surely this could have prevented the increase of the spread?!!!
“#Staysafe and try and keep patient and calm despite the lack of common sense being afforded to us.”
On January 8, it was announced travellers arriving in England and Scotland will need negative tests to be granted entry into the country.
The test will need to be taken up to 72 hours before they depart, and those flouting the rules will receive a fine.
