Bradley Walsh scolds Brian Conley as The Chase team debate over money offer

The Chase host Bradley Walsh hit out at comedian Brian Conely during a celebrity edition of the ITV quiz show.

The presenter wasn’t impressed with the advice Brian gave to his teammate Jeff Banks and couldn’t resist cheekily scolding the star.

Bradley was forced to intervene after didn’t agree with the words of wisdom Brian attempted to give Jeff.

Designer Jeff was the first famous face to take on Jeany Ryan aka the Vixen in a round of general knowledge question.

He managed to answer five questions correctly in his cash builder round earning him a sound £5,000 for charity.

Jeff could have taken a step closer to home for £1,000 or a step further away for a whooping £40,000.

As usual, Bradley asked Jeff’s teammates for their advice.

Brian said: “Jeff it’s up to you mate I mean you don’t want to risk too much.

“I think we’d all be very happy if you bring back to the table £5,000.

Brian told his teammate Jeff Banks to go for the high offer

However, he later changed his mind and said: “I think personally where we are at the beginning. Go for £40,000.”

“Woah, don’t listen to Brian,” the cheeky presenter joked before asking broadcaster Andy Crane for his advice.

Andy said: “The first person has to come back. We have to have a positive conclusion to the first face-off with the Chaser.”

Television presenter Michelle Ackerley added: “Five grand is a solid figure we need you back in this seat. I’d stick with what you’ve got.”

Jeff managed to sail through to the final chase, and second player Michelle followed suit despite earning just £1,000 in her cash builder round.

The presenter took the lower offer of £500 before contestant number three Andy was beaten by the Chaser and missed out on adding an extra £7,000 to the jackpot.
