Britney Spears thanks #FreeBritney movement after big conservatorship victory

Britney Spears has thanked her fans for their constant resilience during the #FreeBritney campaign.

The 39-year-old singer secured a major victory in her attempt to rid herself of Jamie Spears’ conservatorship last week, as her father was officially suspended as one of her conservators.

The victory marked an unofficial end to the 13-year long conservatorship which 69-year-old Jamie held over his daughter’s estate and person.

On Wednesday, an LA judge instead gave the conservator title to a man appointed by Britney herself and the Stronger singer has now addressed her most fervent supporters.

Posting to Twitter on Monday, Britney gave a shoutout to her earliest supporters in the legal battle.

He deemed the ruling “disappointing” in a statement released through his lawyer.

Britney’s own attorney Mathew Rosengart has since shared his hopes that the conservatorship will be fully terminated next month.
