Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion send fans wild with raunchy Grammy performance

Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion sent pulses racing with their Grammy performance tonight.

The pair joined forces to perform their hit song WAP featuring a stripper pole, giant high heeled shoe and ending with them writhing on a huge bed on stage.

A-listers Megan and Cardi left very little to the imagination as they grinded against each other and mimicked sex positions in their first live performance of the song after it was released in August last year.

Cardi, 28, wore a metallic bra with metallic panties and shoulder pads while Megan opted for a silver metallic bustier with flesh coloured fishnet tights.

Despite the song lyrics being changed to less X-rated the performance was still just as sexually charged as ever, with Cardi starting the performance by spinning around on a stripper pole.

Before the power duo performed together, they both showcased their talents solo with Megan going first before being followed immediately by Cardi.

The 26-year-old performed ‘Body’ and ‘Savage’ dressed in a bejewelled bodysuit in a 20s theme number complete with tap dancing and nods to burlesque and Fred Astaire.

Cardi followed with her single, ‘Up’, shaking her derriere with a team of backup dancers and bright neon projections of stacks of dollar bills and Birkin handbags.

Fans took to Twitter to voice their amazement at the performance.

Megan won her first Grammy ever for Best New Artist, before following it up with two wins for her breakout hit Savage (Remix) ft Beyoncé for which she won Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song, making history as the first woman to win in that category.

Before the Grammys Cardi talked on Twitter about how she felt about the Grammys and shouting out small black artists.

She wrote: “I do feel that there were some albums, and songs that should have been considered for nominations. Maybe by next year, they will get it right.

“However let’s not forget the Grammys nominated soo many independent black artists this year that don’t get the exposure by blogs, magazines and other awards shows.”

She added: “It’s frustrating sometimes to work and work on your craft and you feel overlooked because you might not look like others, are not mixxy so you not always around other artists, you rap or sing about different material, you stay out of the drama and the media or yet still not as popular.

“However you’re a talented-a** f*** and one day you wake up and you find out you’re nominated and got a notice from one of the biggest awards show purely cause of your TALENT!”
