Love Island star Dani Dyer will be in high spirits as she celebrates her 25th birthday this week but things haven’t always been so rosy for the Eastenders actor’s daughter.
Since being crowned ‘queen of the villa’ in 2018, Dani has regularly hit the headlines for her turbulent dating life since her time spent winning over the nation on the fourth series of the ITV2 dating show.
Actor Danny Dyer’s eldest child won over the programme’s fans by showcasing her fun-loving and down to earth attitude on the show, but unfortunately, this wasn’t enough to keep her and her fellow winner Jack Fincham together.
The pair first hit it off in the early stages of their Love Island days and soon became the nation’s favourite couple.
But things soon took a turn for the worse after leaving they left the villa.

Jack Fincham
Love Island fans were thrilled to see these two take the top spot of the show and even more so when the pair split the prize fund.
The duo then trialled out living with each other after their villa departure, but it wasn’t long before their happy home turned sour.
The two moved in together in a swanky Canary Wharf pad and social media took a daily hit of their loved-up selfies and heartfelt confessions.
Back in the final months of 2018, Dani first announced in an Instagram post that the couple had split up before revealing it was a flippant response to a heated argument she had with Jack.
The couple then continued their romance before Jack announced on April 4, 2019, that he was no longer coupled up with his former co-star.
He shared a lengthy post onto his Instagram and wrote: “There is no easy way to say this and it isn’t going to be an easy time but me and Dani are not in a relationship anymore.
“We will always care a lot for each other and have love for each other and I mean that from the bottom of my heart and I wish her nothing but happiness.
“We have some amazing memories together and have been through a lot but sometimes things aren’t meant to be and we really did try to make it work but it, unfortunately, didn’t and that is life.
“That’s all I have to say, a break up is hard enough as it is for both of us let alone in the public eye so I hope everyone is considerate and understands this.”
The following day, Dani revealed to the Huffington Post that they “just didn’t work out”.
Dani told the publication: “There’s going to be a lot of stuff going on about it, but it’ll be fine. I wish all the best for Jack, it just didn’t work out.”
“It is tough, you know? A lot of people are going to be like ‘oh, it’s a publicity stunt’, but to be honest, I’d rather be with someone going through a book tour, it’d be nice to have that.”
She also went on to add that there’s “never a good time” to end a relationship, and said: “There’s Christmas, oh, there’s a birthday, oh, there’s Easter… there’s never a good time. It’s just happened, but it’s just one of them things.”
Dani and Jack now seem to have severed all ties as they moved on with other partners.
Since, the pair broke up, Jack has worked as an influencer, made a series of TV appearances and had his first child.
He had his daughter Blossom in January 2020 but last year his ex Casey Ranger has since accused him of seeing her three time in her first eight months.

Soon after Jack and Dani’s split, the 24-year-old came under fire by fans for moving on ‘quickly’ with her on-off ex Sammy, after they were pictured kissing just a few weeks after she split from Jack.
Dani dated stockbroker Sammy before she entered the Love Island villa and then shortly after her breakups with Jack, he then became Dani’s boyfriend once again.
The pair were together for around a year before went on Love Island villa, but April 2019 saw them reunite once again.
On the show, Dani branded her ex a “liar” and in her book What Would Dani Do? she said he “treated her like a side dish”.
But despite this, they rekindled for a little while and were frequently spotted on boozy outings.
However, their relationship was short-lived once again as Dani confirmed her breakup from Sammy in March 2020.
The couple then went through further stages of being loved up to feuding fallouts, but then looked pretty sturdy following Dani’s pregnancy announcement in July 2020.
The star gave birth to her first child, a baby son, called Santiago who in January 2021.
At the time, insiders revealed to The Sun that they were desperate to see the pair marry and that they were beyond happy together.
But disaster struck for Dani, when Sammy was accused of fraud for scamming two elderly men and leaving them out of pocket by almost £34,000.
Up until the hearing, Dani appeared to be standing by his side no matter what but after he was slammed with a 42-month sentence, this was rumoured to have changed.
In July 2020, the 25-year-old con artist apparently cried in court on Wednesday as he was sentenced for scamming two elderly men.
An insider has shared that Dani was “absolutely floored” by the verdict and having to now deal with the idea of being a single parent.
The source claimed to MailOnline: “She is absolutely floored by what’s happened with Sammy. She knows she has to make massive changes in her life and she’s so distraught…
“All she knows is that her baby boy Santiago is the only thing that matters now and she is trying to work out how best to look after him as a single parent.
“She needs time to think it through. Sammy completely downplayed the court case every step of the way.”
The celeb had kept quiet on social media since, until recently, when she posted a photo celebrating Santiago turning six months old.
She shared a snap of her cradling her son and captioned it: “My absolute pride and joy”.
Prior to all the drama, Dani had spoken about her hopes for another baby with Sammy, but if this still on the cards it will have to wait until he is released.
