Emmerdale actress Sophie Powles has confirmed she is pregnant with her first child.
The ITV regular, who plays Holly Barton in the hit soap, confirmed the news with an adorable online post.
Logging into her official Instagram, Sophie uploaded a snap of her sunbathing on the beach.
Wearing a leopard print swimsuit alongside partner Mark Waters, Sophie showed off her blossoming baby bum.
The soap regular, 32, captioned the shot: “And so the adventure of us three begins.”
The post was quickly met with a flurry of warm wishes of congratulations and support from fans and friends alike.
Replying to the snap, one fan gushed: “How lovely… many congratulations”.

Another simply added: “Perfect”.
Meanwhile, Sophie’s Emmerdale c-star Eden Taylor-Draper who plays Belle Dingle on the show was one of the first to reply.
The actress simply wrote “beautiful” alongside three heart emojis.
Carl King actor Tom Lister also competed with a series of heart emojis – though opted for red ones.
Sophie first appeared on Emmerdale back in 2009 where she enjoyed a three year run.

After leaving in 2012 she took a break from her role as Holly before returning for a brief stint in 2016.
Much like with most of British soap’s characters, Holly has been through a lot during her time in the Dales.
She battled drug addiction before being tragically found dead in her bed.
Her mother Moria, played by Natalie J Robb, tried to wake her but she had already passed away.

It was recently reported that Natalie J Robb has split from her co-star boyfriend Jonny McPherson after around a year of dating.
The couple grew close during a charity trip to Lapland in December 2019 but wasn’t until July 2020 that they decided to go public with their romance.
Earlier this week a source revealed that despite them moving in together during lockdown they have called time on their relationship.
They added to Digital Spy the split occurred ‘a few months ago’.
