Fiona Wade is best known for playing Priya Sharma in Emmerdale, a charming party girl who has been involved in some highly gripping storylines including anorexia and a sordid affair with her friend’s fiance – and Priya could even end up dead this week.
But it’s not just soaps that Fiona has on her repertoire.
The 42-year-old is a seasoned musical theatre and stage actress. She has played Kim in Miss Saigon, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Maria in West Side Story and has also tread the boards in America.
Fiona has had numerous decent roles in British dramas, too, including Waterloo Road, Where the Heart Is, Silent Witness and Casualty.
And like many a British actor, she started out in children’s drama Grange Hill.
Fiona is married to fellow Emmerdale star Simon Cotton and the pair wed in the Cotswolds in 2019.

Fiona looked ravishing in this little black dress with a sexy twist at the British Soap Awards at the Hackney Assembly Rooms in 2016.
The super daring two-piece corset with a flowing see-through skirt showed off her fabulous figure perfectly and she complemented the glitzy look with a simple bun and black, strappy shoes.
Emmerdale won over both EastEnders and Coronation Street that night so there was plenty of cause for celebration.

This sizzling shot was taken during a holiday in Dubai in 2017.
Fiona’s white bikini shows off her slim legs to a tee and her 82k followers couldn’t agree more, saying she is “the finest girl on TV” and cheekily commenting “nice view”.
The beach-ready outfit was a far cry from Fiona’s Emmerdale wardrobe, with Priya mainly seen in sharp business attire.
Frisky flowers

Fiona chose another daring number for the ITV Gala at the London Palladium in 2016.
She again showed off her long legs in a corset type garment with a sheer dress over the top, but this time with a floral theme, with delicate embroidery covering her body.
The beauty teamed it with some dramatic dark eye makeup and stilettos and looked a million dollars.
Sexy in Spain

Fiona showed off her summery side in a bright yellow bikini while on holiday in Seville, Spain – said to be the hottest city in Europe.
She showcased her legs and toned tum while on a sofa and simply captioned the shot: “And then the sun came out.”
And considering her recent work on Emmerdale, there’s no doubt Fiona will be in need of a good holiday sometime soon.
Lady in red

Fiona went for this floor-length Pretty Woman inspired gown while on hosting duties at the Movie Video & Screen Awards in 2016.
Designed by Pia Michi, the figure-hugging scarlet red dress showed off her toned back and arms and was effortlessly elegant.
She styled her her into a chic up-do, while the dress ran behind her with a glamorous train.
Country girl

Fiona showed off a more playful and casual side to herself in this fun snap of her balanced on a tree in the English countryside last year.
Fiona is pictured in a chocolate-coloured playsuit and Converse trainers showing she can do casual chic just as well as full on glam.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays, on ITV
