Jessica Simpson looked stunning as she laid herself bare for a candid makeup-free selfie.

The fashion icon and mum-of-three posted a bare-faced snap to her Instagram story, with her grinning at the camera through a curtain of wavy blonde hair.

Her brown eyes glinted in the early morning sun as Jessica achieved her natural glow-up.

From what was visible on camera, she looked relaxed in a khaki-coloured hooded top.

Jess captioned the pic: “Rise and shine”.

In another intimate pic, Jessica smiled for the camera with her hair pushed a little further back, giving her 5.6million followers a better look at her naturally dewy skin.

“Sunny kinda mornin’,” she wrote alongside.

And fans were left stunned by the move, with one writing: “So naturally beautiful!!! You are such an amazing example for women our age.”

Someone else commented: “Thank you for being so real!!! Still gorgeous without all the makeup!”

While another follower wrote: “You look so young and healthy and fresh faced! Killing it!” with two clapping emojis.

Even country music superstar Jessie James Decker was there to show her love, posting a row of love heart emojis.

The move came just a day after Adele posted her own zero makeup selfie, a chic black and white snap with her long hair tossed back over her shoulders.

The singing megastar’s planet tattoo was on full display as she bared her natural look for the photographer.

Jessica has always been candid about her beauty routine, and in 2006 admitted to Glamour that she did try lip filler Retylane, but said she felt it made her look “fake”.

“My lips are back to what they were, thank God!” she said.

Jessica has also spoken about her two tummy tuck operations in her 2020 memoir Open Book after her first two pregnancies.

But she added: “I can tell you that plastic surgery does not cure what’s inside. Really, it’s about how you feel emotionally, and I was still just as hard on myself once those stitches were out.”

She said she “couldn’t handle” her insecurities after the pregnancies – one of which resulted in a nine-day hospital stay after suffering complications.

She wouldn’t even let hubby Eric Johnson see her without a t-shirt on.

“I had sex with it on and even showered with it on,” Jessica wrote.
