Love Island's Amy breaks silence on Hugo sex claims after fans saw bed rocking

Love Island star Amy Day has spoken candidly about her bedroom antics with Hugo Hammond and confessed that they never had sex, despite fans believing that they did.

Amy who was savagely dumped from the villa on Thursday night spoke openly in her exit interview about her relationship with Hugo while branding the PE teacher as “fake”.

But she also made sure she squashed fans’ speculations, as many thought the two had sex as soon as they returned to the main villa after Casa Amor.

Speaking frankly regarding how she feels about Hugo now, Amy said: “Fake – because he wasn’t telling me that he didn’t like me. I do wish I’d opened up and re-coupled with someone else.

While another said: “Can’t believe that Hugo was s******g there. Amy really will do anything for that £50k, no chemistry whatsoever.”

Amy and Hugo first met while they were both in Casa Amor and seemed to hit it off quite quickly.

Hugo expressed his interest in the brunette babe and was happy to continue their romance once they re-entered into the main villa.

But things appeared to not be as exciting for the pair a few days later and they both complained that neither was giving enough effort for the relationship to progress.

Fans at home also believed that Amy may have been playing a game to secure her place in the main villa too and didn’t really like Hugo.

Now that Amy has made her exit, she’s expressed that she felt she was “messed around” by Hugo as he didn’t make his feelings genuine to her.

Amy explained: “I was being 100% genuine and real and I was a little bit messed around, but I loved the experience. I’ve definitely learned what I don’t want and how I should be treated in a relationship.”

Love Island airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2
