Paris Hilton is engaged!
The Hilton heiress, 40, said “yes” when boyfriend Carter Reum dropped to one knee to pop the all-important question.
The pair are currently celebrating Paris’ birthday on a private island, so Carter used their getaway as an opportunity to make the day even more memorable.
“I am excited about this next chapter and having such a supportive partner,” Paris told Vogue. “Our relationship is one of equals. We make each other better people. He was absolutely worth the wait!”
Paris’ famous family were also flown out to the private island for post-engagement festivities.
After Carter proposed, Paris’ sister Nicky and Carter’s brother Courtney were among those toasting to the happy news.

Announcing the exciting news on Instagram, Paris shared a video of the pair’s intimate engagement, writing: “When you find your soulmate, you don’t just know it. You feel it.
“My love & I have been together since our first date, and for my birthday, he arranged a special trip to tropical paradise.
“As we walked to dinner along the beach, Carter led us to a cabana adorned with flowers and dropped to one knee. I said yes, yes to forever. There’s no one I’d rather spend forever with.
“Here’s to Love – the Forever Kind,” she added.

Though she’s known businessman Carter for 15 years, the pair struck up a romance relatively recently.
Paris – who’s made a name for herself in the music world as a reputable DJ – admitted that the pair finally got together in a romantic sense back in November 2019.
“I’ve known him for 15 years,” she told People last year. “Then [Carter’s sister Halle Hammond] invited us to Thanksgiving and we just had this incredible chemistry.”
“We had our first date and haven’t spent a night apart since. It’s pretty amazing,” she added.

Though she’s finally managed to find her forever love, t’s not been a smooth sailing journey for Paris.
She was previously engaged to Chris Zylka, but decided to call off their union in 2018 after nearly three years together.
Reflecting on her past relationship, Paris admitted that she wasn’t sure if she’d ever find her perfect match since the split.

She said: “After my last breakup, I thought I was going to be alone forever. I was like, I give up. I’ll just focus on myself. I don’t need anyone. So to have actually fallen in love, I just feel so grateful.
“I don’t think I was ready for it before. I just always wanted what my mom and dad have. They’re best friends, he’s so loyal. I was always looking for that, but I was looking in the wrong places.”
“Carter actually reminds me of my dad! He makes me feel safe and happy. I finally found the right one,” she added.
